There are some really great points about this mannequin that make me feel like it's worth 4 stars. First, I think this might be better suited for older kids (like, whatever age kids are when they stop putting small pieces of stuff in their mouths). This kit has a lot of helpful accessories - plenty of things to learn different styles. The other neat thing about this mannequin is that it isn't quite as terrifying as a normal cosmetology head - the features are better defined, the eyes aren't creepy and soulless, and the ears are even pierced! The clamp is the same as any other type of mannequin head like this, and works the way you'd expect. The hair is not bad for a synthetic - it sheds about as much as a normal synthetic wig, and the texture is nice. I do feel like it tangles pretty easily. The only thing I don't like about it is that it was hard for me to keep wig on the head. It would do okay for a while, but then I'd do something and it would pop off. Didn't really seem to matter how much I tried to adjust the drawstring. I feel like this might be frustrating for a cosmetology student, but if it's used as more of a toy then it probably isn't so bad.

This is by far the best mannequin head I have purchased. I have a couple with 100% human hair that I paid a great deal more for and they don’t compare to the quality of this one. Her hair remains full after brushing new loose strands. It doesn’t frizz out. Easy to comb, style and wash. Plus more. This was for a six year old girl. It’s way easy for her to work with. If it tangles it’s easy to detangle without pulling the hair out. The price is the best. This is a quality product. I highly recommend it.

Nice and vibrant color. Did get a little easily tangled though

I love this product! all the pieces cam as described. I definitely recommend it!

Bought this for my teenage granddaughter and she absolutely loved it
