To cover the hood of my truck

I wrapped a chrome bumper and a grill on my Silverado LTZ Z71.Vinyl came undamaged and got here quickly. Any minor creases came out with a little heat. Had some minor scratches which were easy to see as I got black. Wish I got a smaller sample as it's slightly more gray than my gloss black truck when viewed in full sunlight. See pics. Last pic is a before pic.I've worked with vinyl a few times, but not a pro. I found this vinyl pretty easy to work with on flatter surfacesIt felt pretty thin and heated quickly. Too much pressure or heat and it tore pretty easily when conforming it. And I noticed it did not recover as well from stretching as some other vinyl I've used and it starts to lose color if stretched too much. If overworked or you have sweaty hands it starts to lose adhesion.It scratches VERY easily. I wrapped my felt applicator tool in an eyeglasses cleaning cloth to minimize scratches. The felt was leaving lots of scratches. Easy to see since I used black.Measure your item and add up to 10 inches in each direction you have enough to pull on. Watch some videos of it's your first time. If your wrapping a car I reccomend washing it, clay baring, then remove the part of possible and wrap it in a clean and warm room away from pet hair or dust.

Very impressed with wrap and quality of high gloss. Scratches resistance is moderate. Still good material that you can work with.Update: after 4 orders of this ítem and unfortunately.. trial and errors. It seems durable and robust. Install is a pain even with heat gun. The product likes to fold over and crease. Not the best to work with but manageable. Some where there be blemishes in your work and this dosnt hide it

I have used vvivid wraps before but this wrap is hard to work with and it comes over stretched dorm the factory

This Vinyl was great to work with. It responded just as intended. Would definitely recommend.Had to wrap a commercial freezer in a hurry. The results left the customer satisfactorily pleased.

The media could not be loaded. First off let me start off by saying the wrap got delivered way faster than what it said. This isn’t my first time wrapping my car actually it’s the second time lol but the first time I went with a cheap wrap and the quality wasn’t so great and didn’t have a protective layer but this vvivid wrap is great I got the job done in a couple days love the fact it does have a protective layer on the wrap pills right off and looks great. The wrap came out looking good the color seems to have a deep blue when you shine light on it. Never thought I would wrap my car black but I love the look.

I’ve used vvivid vinyl before and it’s worked good for what I need. Haven’t bought it in a while and needed some for the roof of my car. This is how it arrived. Not in a box. Packaging ripped and vinyl scratched. Idk if it’s Amazon or vvivid but impressed by their new shipping methods.

Part of my entire glass panel roof on my car is polycarbonate. It’s maybe 8 inches by 46 inches and the sun has eaten the top layer so it’s peeled and stress cracked like headlights can get. The rest of the roof is like new because it’s real tempered glass.I tried to buff the top layer out then wet sanded it with 220, 400, 1000, then 2000 and then compound followed by polish.It was better but not perfect.I thought I’d try vinyl wrap and ordered 12” by 60” in both satin and gloss. The gloss was a 95% match to the glass tint so I put it in with a plastic squeegee and a hair dryer. Hair dryer sucked so that’s not the way to go in anyone’s future…..but the vinyl itself went on very easily and the sun heat helped smooth it out.I’m such a newb at this that I didn’t even know the vinyl has a clear protective coating on the top layer and only realized that after the sun heat was bubbling and lifting it up!Once I removed that top layer coating- peeled right off like a clear tape- the result was awesome.Could have saved 8 hours of sanding and buffing, the price of rubbing compound and polish and had a much better result by spending the $15 ish dollars to do it wayyyyyy easier and with a great result.Highly recommendedGreat stuff even a total newb can figure out.Heat is the real assit in getting it right once placed correctly with some pressure.:)

Too thick. Stretches, but won’t hold or stick after. Very very difficult to apply. I was going to return it, but decided to used it in attempt to find a reason to leave a good review or blame myself for applicator error. I could do neither. I’ve used vinyl wrap many times, and this was without question the most difficult to use. Should have gotten my money back. Spend a bit more and get a better product. This will work fine on flat surfaces or surfaces with minor contours.

The media could not be loaded. Dont waste your money. Its very thick and not repositionable.its somewhat air release but you wont get to that part. Its hightac. I want my money back
