3M First Base + Bump Cap/Safety Cap, EN812 Protection

In the past I have used a bump cap with a standard length peak but when working in a tight environment the peak would always get in the way. Also when working indoors standard bump caps make your head really hot in warm weather. This is an excellent bump cap, it’s very comfortable to the point that you almost forget your wearing it. The short peak means it’s not restrictive at all. The quality appears to be excellent. I would certainly recommend this product.

Purchased this as previous bump cap I was using didn’t fit well as didn’t come down low enough on side of my head and kept falling off. So frustrating I went back to using a hard hat. What a difference this bump has made, got cushioning insert and the adjustment allows it to fit your head well preventing it from falling off. Gives overall better head protection covering the side of my head. Seems better ventilated than my previous one, so stops you overheating. Certain exceed my expectations for quality and value for money.

Comfy and stylish. I use it on my ebike as my wife thinks I should.

Smaller than expected and not very comfortable. Has a hard plastic exposed ridge along the centre rear that digs into the back of the head and the front fabric pleats into folds and presses into the forehead.

Great light weight cap.Could do with a bit more ventilation in the lining.it does adjust at the back (not as indicted by some reviewers)

Great protection from bumping your head. Not as cumbersome as a hard hat and much more comfortable, though obviously not as impact resistant. Definitely works for me when working on scaffolds with those dam clips. Does get sweaty when you warm up but the towelling head band soaks it up well. Recommend if you don't need the full-on protection of a hard hat.

Le produit est beaucoup trop petit, si vous avez une tête assez grande, laissez tomber, la taille unique qu'ils font est beaucoup trop petite. Dommage car la finition de la casquette et sa coque protectrice sont parfaites.
