Awesome Game
An awesome game around building up the seaside resort of Cape May, NJ at the turn of the century, (19th to 20th). Works well with 2 player but plays best with 4 players. I really enjoyed it.

Beautiful game!
Cape May is a light/medium , strategy board game. It uses an action point system , as each player uses their personal hand of 7 movement cards , to strategically build cottages , shops , victorian houses , and businesses in specific areas , to score points. A very nice publishing job also , as the game board and components are lovely. A wonderfully light/medium strategy game , guaranteed to give a fun time for experienced board gamers and novices , alike.

Eventful and Fun
This is a pretty extensive game. But once you read the booklet, or watch a you tube video, you will be able to play. The artwork is amazing, event cards like fires, etc. add to the authentic historical feel of the game.It took us a while to play it at first, but now I think it will be more fun the next time.If you are a fan of Cape May, as I am, it will take you back to Jackson Street.

Great game, poor color choices
Cape May is a very good game. It has elements of an economic game, building game, and even area control. I think if you like games like New York 1901 you will like this game. The production is excellent with really good components. The instructions are easy to learn and follow. The game even has a very good solo mode. The only issue is the poor color choices used in the game. Green and red pieces can be a problem if you are colorblind. Also the board and many components have mechanics and game play based on zones and the colors of these zones are too close together. In short, you have a really nice game that is fun to play and offers a lot. However, poor color choices may make this game difficult to play if you are are colorblind.
