Just couldn't get the right fit. My Pity has a big head..lol product is well made.

This hat is just horrible. It had better reviews than competitors so I had high hopes, but I'm returning this thing. It is very much designed for dogs with high set ears. My golden retriever and labradoodle mix has side set ears and while the ear holes were big enough for the base of her ears, it didn't fit right and crumpled her ears up and she was wiggling and trying to get the hat off as hard as she could. She's a service dog and wears noise reduction headphones just fine, so the problem is not her refusing headgear in general. the problem is that this hat was so extremely uncomfortable. the bill of the hat covered her eyes like a blindfold. the curve of it is not contoured to a dog's head, but more so to a human toddler's head. The design doesn't accommodate the fact that dogs have necks and their ears are not horizontally positioned. I think the best possible fit for this awful hat would be for a dog with a long neck and high set small ears. If that's not your dog, don't get this. Don't torture your dog with a hat that can damage their ear structure. As someone with 23 years experience sewing, this is just poorly constructed. I wanted to avoid making one myself because the small garment will be difficult on my arthritic hands, but it seems that if I want it done right I have to do it myself.

The hat itself is nice, but it’s not a good fit for my dog. When she’s out in the sun, her nose gets sunburnt so I want to get her a nice hat. This one is too short and doesn’t help to protect her nose.

Got one in the largest size for our standard poodle because according to my husband she needed to have a hat for herself. It was very cute and fits nicely. Haven’t had an issue with it falling off. She did chew the strap but I just used a ribbon to replace it and it was a good as new.

I really wanted to like this product! I go camping often, specifically in the summer time so I wanted my dogs to have a little extra protection from the sun. I bought the small black hat for my smaller sized pug. My dog did one small shake and the hat was leaning to the side, despite securing it with the tightener and placing his ears in the hole. I gave it 2 stars because it looks cute on the dog, but it is not functional at all.

Top adorable. Too small for Roxy. Giving it to my grand dog. She's 18yrs old. Perfect for her.

One star. DOES NOT FIT DOG HEAD. NOT DESIGNED TO DOG'S HEAD. Cover's dogs eyes! He cannot see - does not want to wear it. Need back of hat "cut out" in half circle and whole hat tilted back so he can see. Designer, try harder. Bad design. Need large half circle cut out of bottom back of hat, so hat can go up in front. need velcro chin strap.
