This was so easy to put together, itโs sturdy and the edges are not sharp. They gave great, easy instructions and their website has wonderful videos! Great product. Wish I had 10 of them!

I expected the version I bought to come with the bars to fasten to the inside and stop buckling but was able to bushcraft stainless wire to the nuts and it seems to do the trick. Fingers crossed

Material quality is very good. Aside from the corners being a bit sharp (as expected), the construction was very refined. The finish is really nice! I ordered the pearl white, and it's the perfect versatile white color for outdoors. The paint and clearcoat show no chipping and water beads up nicely on it. The construction is super simple. I didn't even realize this until a ways into assembly, but the threads of the bolts actually self-tighten as they turn when you wrench the bolts down. I would still highly recommend a ratchet wrench of some sort or a drill on a low-torque setting. The gasket that is installed at the very end is a great final touch to the product. The one complaint that I have is the thin plastic protection on the product. I tried to remove it in 45F weather, and it took over 5 minutes to FULLY remove the plastic from both sides of a single panel. I later took the items into the garage overnight and it was easier in a 60F environment, but it still took about 4-5 minutes to fully remove from both sides. Finally, I took my heat gun to the panel for a minute to get the temp up to about 90F and the plastic came off at about a minute per side. WHEN TAKING THE PLASTIC OFF, DON'T PULL IT OVER THE RIBS (IT'LL LIKELY RIP), INSTEAD START FROM THE SIDE OF THE PANEL (WHEN VIEWED AS IF IT WERE INSTALLED). The completed product was actually very robust and I wish I installed it on the deck (level ground) and just picked it up and moved it to position). At the end of the day, this product is very light weight and has a minimalist feel and I think the price is definitely fair. If you were to build it out of wood or sheet metal yourself, the costs would likely be very similar, plus you'd have to paint and clearcoat the material. BUT..... the full process of removing the protective plastic layer and assembly easily took a solid 2 hours. Build it on a level surface, use a power tool to run down the nuts, and move it to its final location for best results. I'm serious in saying it took over an hour to remove all the plastic though. Disclaimer: I was provided this product at no cost to provide an unbiased review.

We just got the product, so I cannot comment on the long term performances. The material seems good quality, the hardware (bolts and nuts) is all stainless steel, good quality (and that is expensive stuff). However the assembly is a little tedious. With good tools (I used an powered screw driver and a 10mm rachet). Then I put together two plastic tables, because otherwise you have to work on the floor and that would have killed my back! All in all it takes more than an hour, you have to screw A LOT of bolts and nuts, and then you have to tighten them again as the metal settles. IF was shipped in a larger box with larger signle components I think it would be better, but once you are done, agian, they look and feel good.

I was planning a raised garden bed space in my yard last summer and I wanted the best beds I could get. After much research, I landed on the Vego raised bed. I ordered two last June. Then I decided I could fit a third in my space and ordered another in July. We assembled them in the fall after my site prep was done. All seemed fine, all were assembled in the same manner. Over the winter, I was gathering up cardboard, then logs, then limbs to fill the beds. Everything was still great. Then I started adding compost in March 2025. That's when one of the beds started bulging. I reach out to Vego Customer support and was told to email my order information, name, address, pictures, etc. and they will get an extra bracing rod in the mail to correct the issue. I am so excited, as I will be able to get this bed up and running for spring planting. A few weeks pass and I hear nothing, so I call again. I am told to do the same thing again, and I do it. Another couple weeks pass and I call again, email the same info again. Then I get a reply email stating that I need more bracing rods and here is the link to buy them. Vego sells the rods now at $20 with $10 shipping. I am infuriated. I have spent over $500 for these beds with the expectation that they will work appropriately, and when they don't the response is that I should buy this other piece of equipment to make them work. I know at this point, what's another $30? But it's the principal that has upset me so. I email this same concern to vego and get no response. My product should work as stated initially without the need to buy additional equipment. And I was told twice that I would get the bracing rod I need for FREE. I broke down and ordered the bracing rods from amazon this morning, because then I can avoid the $10 shipping fee Vego charges, but I am NOT happy about it. I will be happy when I can get the rest of the soil in that one troublesome raised bed and harvest some yummy produce!
