Q: would this be too warm when paired with Mcintosh amp?

It's hard to say without knowing which McIntosh amplifier. That being said - it is unlikely any McIntosh amplifiers are going to sound especially warm, even their tube amplifiers. But some of that can depend on other factors, such as how lively the room sounds (can be an issue if the room doesn't have much furniture or carpet or thicker drapes etc), and how the sources sound. On the whole however, I would say a Mac amp paired with the L600s are more likely to offer a more neutral sound than an overly warm sound.
