Finally, the perfect knee cushion, at least for me. See updates at the end.
Disclaimer: I paid full price for this item on amazon. No promotion, coupon or discount. I have no relationship with CushComfort of Amazon. This is a real review.I have been looking for the perfect knee pillow for a long time. Those that are strictly "knee" pillows I found to be too short for me with no support below my knee resulting in a better back in the morning, but a soar knee. They kept slipping out during the night, and got hot. I finally settled for using a queen size memory foam pillow. It worked but was big, bulky and kept slipping out. Turning over during the night was a project. Again though, all of that aside, it worked for me.I have only used this Knee Cushion for two night and I already know it's perfect, at least for me. I have lower back problems that without any help, when I wake up in the morning I have a lot of pain. With the queen size pillow, and now with this knee cushion I wake up pain free. It is contoured in a way that my legs are comfortable. It is long enough to give comfortable support below my knee, and small enough to stay with me when I move at night. It does get warm, but not nearly as hot as the others I have tried.I realize that everyone's needs are different, but if you're a side sleeper with lower back problems this cushion is certainly worth a try. It is very different from the others, and for my needs is absolutely perfect.April 2, 2017: I have been using this pillow for two weeks. When I wrote the above review I had only used it two nights. I did not realize then what a really great pillow it is. I have no pain in my back in the morning for the first time in years. It stays put all night, even when I roll over. I actually wake up in the middle of the night and check to make sure it's still there. It always is. I've had no problem with it getting hot the way some of the others I tried did. Again, nothing works for everyone, but if you're a side sleeper with back or hip problems you owe it to yourself to try this pillow. To make it even better, the company emailed me about a week after I got it to be sure I was pleased, and assured me that I wasn't they would be happy to let me return it. That just isn't going to happen. :)Update 11/9/17: I have now used this pillow for 8 months. Everything I have said about it, above, is still true. I will NEVER be without it!

Great design, this works
I just had a hip replacement and ordered this beforehand. I've tired a knee pillow before, but it never stayed in place, and actually the increased angle from knee to feet created its own discomfort. This one works: stays in place, density strikes the balance between firm and comfortable, tapered edges toward ankles keep it where it needs to be (see pillow placement of model in marketing photo). I only WISH it were a bit longer-- say 18", so that feet aren't dangling off of it. How about making a longer size for those of us with longer legs?

On the fence
I got this for pregnant side sleeping (normally a back sleeper) and though I have wide hips, this is a bit too thick for regular side sleeping for me (where my back is perpendicular to the bed). With that said, it's a good thickness for partial side-sleeping (where I have a pillow behind me so my back is roughly a 45degree angle from the bed). I like the length and shape though, and have found it useful in other ways (such as resting my upper arm on it so my shoulder isn't falling forward uncomfortably while side sleeping). It's a pretty dense foam, so it doesn't give much.

VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE OF COMPANY
I PURCHASED THE KNEE PILLOW AND TRIED IT OUT FOR SEVERAL NIGHTS. IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME. HOWEVER, WHEN I REPORTED THIS THE CUSH COMFORT CO. CREDITED MY ACCOUNT FOR THE PURSCHASE PRICE AND I DID NOT HAVE TO RETURN. I FEEL THE COMPANY IS VERY RTELIABLE AND GOOD. I HAVE HAD 2 MAJOR BACK SURGERIES AND I THINK THAT ALL THE SCREWS IN BACK ARE THE REASON IT DID NOT WORK. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU TRY IT

Side sleepers - you need this pillow!
I am mostly a side sleeper, with the occasional desire to sleep on my back. I've noticed as I age I seem to wake up with new aches and pains on a regular basis. I have arthritis in most of my joints, including my spine, so mornings can be rough and my lower back had been bothering me, specifically upon waking up, for a number of months now. I've looked at many different pillows intended to help spine alignment during sleep and read many, many reviews. I finally settled on this knee pillow and I wish I'd purchased it sooner! From the VERY FIRST NIGHT of use, I woke up with a noticeable difference in the pain I'd gotten so used to having upon waking up! The lower back pain/weak feeling (as if my back was going to give out while trying to stand up) was gone! The pillow itself is extremely soft and comfy. The foam as well as the plush cover, both are outstanding. As someone who is very sensitive to textures, I can say I absolutely LOVE the feel of this pillow! It's soft enough to squish but bounces right back into shape. At the same time it's the perfect firmness to keep my legs and spine in the proper alignment while sleeping on my side. Before using this pillow my lower back would hurt so much it was difficult for me to even turn over in the night. That pain is now gone and I have no problem turning over or standing up in the morning. The only 'con' I've found (it's almost a non-issue for me), the pillow does get a little bit warm while I'm sleeping. Because I am often cold, the tiny bit of heat generated would likely just work to my benefit so I'm not even worried about it. But if you're one who tends to run hot this issue may bother you.I think if I had the option to change anything at all it would be to maybe add a loop of fabric so I could attach the pillow my leg. That way it wouldn't move when I wanted to flip to the other side in the middle of the night. It's definitely not necessary, I don't find I'm losing the pillow or anything, it would just be a nice little extra.Overall this was an excellent purchase that I am so glad I finally made. Highly recommended for anyone who is a side sleeper and is suffering from lower back pain!
