I ordered these worms with the understanding that they where night crawlers...They are not night crawlers, they are very small red wiggle worms.If you are looking for night crawlers for fishing, this not what you want....

More than half died within two to three days.

I ordered these as well as the african starter kit. I waited about a month to make any review, which is usually more accurate. After spending a month in their new home, (a 3 gallon bucket with most of the lid cut out) I am absolutely amazed at how many eggs they've deposited. I'm moving them into newer and bigger digs and waiting for the eggs to hatch. Once they hatch and get growing they won't be able to stay in that bin long as there has got to be thousands of eggs in there. Far more successful than I anticipated. These are definitely happy and healthy worms!! And if you look at my review of the africans, you'll see that you can order with confidence. I would recommend to a friend. (I would also recommend recommend a bigger bin to the same friend!!)
