Should be 4.5 stars
These protective covers are great, don't get me wrong. They better protect my boxed games from dust, smudges, folds, being crushed and just about everything else you'd want your prized boxed Nintendo games to be safe from. They are perfectly see-through and allow you to still view the box art fully while behind the plastic.Let's cut to the chase though, here are the pros and a couple of cons.Pros:1. Great for protecting boxed games2. Easy to slide inside* once you've made the plastic go from flat to box shaped. (They are shipped flat for convenience)3. Durable and easy to store almost anywhere.4. Trust your friends / family again by actually allowing them to hold and view your game boxes knowing there's a layer of plastic in between their fingers and the box.5. The plastic snaps closed to keep your boxes in place.Cons:1. On about half of the protectors, some of the glue holding the two end pieces of plastic together either does not fully hold the plastic together or is just weak. This isn't a huge problem but if i had any very valuable boxes games (say, $50+), it might worry me a little bit because of the slight opening due to a poor glue job.2. *This will not apply to everyone and I'm not encouraging you do this to your very expensive games. If you want to put opened, non-factory sealed boxes into the plastic, they will fit snug. However, if you want to store factory sealed games, especially those with hang tags, you will find it difficult, not impossible, to fit the games into the cases. I only have 7 total boxed games but four of them are factory sealed. The three opened boxes took me 5 minutes. The four factory sealed boxes took me at least 30 minutes because I had to move slowly. The main reason it took me longer for the sealed games was because I didn't want them to become unsealed and the plastic wrapping on the boxes caused a lot of friction. The hang tags also had to be bent inwards in order to fit them inside. The Final Verdict: The reason I did not give these protectors a totally perfect grade is because of the glue issue and maybe 2mm more space would be nice to fit the factory sealed games. Besides those two, mostly minor, issues these protectors have been great for me since I bought them 3 months ago. I've taken out and put my opened boxed games back inside several times with no problems. My sealed games will not be removed. If you have games worth less than $50, get these to save your boxes and keep them mint!

Excellent for SNES boxes but are not great for N64 boxes
I started collection games just earlier this year and have a bunch of boxed SNES games (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) and N64 games (Nintendo 64). They range from sealed, minty or just barely a box and I want to keep them from deteriorating any further. I already bagged my comic collection in mylar bags so why not protect my games.Pros:* Thick, clear-ish plastic* SNES Game boxes fit snuggly* Able to stack* Helps keep some damaged boxes' shape (will not correct damage just keeps them in the correct shape)Cons:* Plastic feels kind of cheap* Seems are easily rip-able (ripped 3 of them)* N64 Boxes are smaller than the SNES boxes so there's a noticable 2mm gap on the top and sides (Boxes can rattle if you are not careful)* Can give off a glare (shiny plastic that can hide the true condition)Overall 5 out of 5 for SNES games but I'd give it a 4 out of 5 for N64 games but most of the boxes were used for SNES games. I haven't seen boxes just for N64 games so I'm hesitant to recommend these for a N64 collection but if you have a ton of SNES boxed games definitely protect them.

Overall, Very Good
Bought these to protect my CIB SNES games. The fit is great and they fit inside a small priority USPS box without being damaged. I've only opened them a few times to switch out a game or pull one out to play, but I noticed the flaps starting to get loose. Afraid that they will start tearing, I've tried to avoid opening them once placed over a game. Have not tried them with any N64 games, but based on the size, they should fit.I have only had 1 problem with them. They do trap moisture inside. If left in a very hot room or car, moisture collects on the inside. I've had to remove games and dry everything off. Kept in a cool place however, I haven't had any problems. Why were they in a hot place? The games were in my car until I could get to the post office to mail them.

Useful and high quality
I am very happy with these box protectors. As others have stated, they fit perfectly for a regular SNES box, with just a little extra room on the ends for n64 boxes (still looks great and stays secure).I only ran into one issue: my copy of Killer Instinct on SNES includes the manual, loose papers and a CD, which made the fit a bit too tight for these sleeves. I may try moving the game and manual to a plastic box and see if that helps, but I'll still be ordering more of these in the future.

A standard, plastic case. Fits SNES game boxes perfectly. They arrive flattened so you will need to bend it into shape before use.
