Great Item
I needed a piezo electric igniter for my camper. My stove does not have that option; so I was using a BBQ butane lighter. This method was not reliable and dangerous. This particular item does the job very well without any danger of a flashback

I do like that it allows one to keep their hand back ...
Not as reliable as I had hoped for. It works most of the time but sometimes it just doesn't work. I had one I returned earlier because there was a definite loud click in the base and it did not work at all after that. This one works off and on but mostly. I do like that it allows one to keep their hand back from the flame and that it does not require fuel.

Works very well, the only problem is that it is not shielded against accidental shock so if you happen to touch the metal part or the corded part, you get a bit of zap.

Cheap product..failed right after I installed it.
The device held real promise, size is perfect...unfortunately it only generates a spark 20% of the time it is triggered. Also, the trigger mechanism has already failed. It won't actually engage internally to fire except once in a while. Would not recommend to anyone.
