Not great at night
Looks fantastic, clean stock look.Camera quality is about what you would expect, I had a different cheaper camera before this one and the quality was significantly better, especially at night.Just know you're buying this for clean stock look, if you want good picture quality I would recommend looking elsewhere

Not suitable for T4R with tow package
I installed this camera on a 2008 4runner. It does fit nicely once the oem bulb socket assembly is completely removed, giving it a nice "factory" look. Its a fairly clear picture in both day and night mode. However the camera viewing angle is not wide enough too see the towing hitch. After adding some shims to adjust the angle I was finally able to get my tow ball barely in view but that limited the view past the hitch to only about 6ft. Also, since the liscense plate lights aren't centered, neither is the camera view.Pros: Fits good, looks good, works as a basic backup camera.Cons: Completely useless for backing up to a trailer, oem bulb socket wiring needs to be cut to install
