Beginner hockey gift
It is was a present for a relative so I was told it was an excellent choice because he has shown an interest in hockey and it gives him a chance to practice.

Get the reps without having to wait for that undependable training partner.
I thought it was priced a little high, and that the cord would get in the way. Turns out it's worth the money and the cord isn't very intrusive at all. Takes a little work to get the puck to come back to the right place every time, but that's good as it forces you to aim each pass. I've only used it a couple times and it seems durable and puck-like. Goalies, you need this too.

Worried about snapping
This is a very cool product that seems to be helpful, but I’m afraid it might snap suddenly one day and cause damage since I usually use it in my home. It comes with an extra band in case this happens, which I assume means it will almost certainly happen eventually

helped me with my passess
after a couple days the first elastic bungee snapped and had begun to knot up like a phone cord. luckily the spare it comes with tells me they already knew its got like a low roll score on durability. the puck feels the same as an ice puck, and honestly is a great concept. DO NOT USE FOR SHOOTING. passing only. but for the money, i'm okay with the lasting results attained. -DV Left wing HAWKS in Va.

Great practice tool for kids
Bought for an 11 y.o. who started ice hockey this year. He seems to really like it! I was influenced by the video on Amazon where the creator of Mr Assist (a former NHL player) talks about how it improves kids’ passing and receiving). It’s simple but effective. It works great on the basement floor and it allows kids to practice hockey skills by themselves vs only when someone is available to play with them. The boy I bought it for has played with it every day.

Very hard to use - you have to hit the puck at a certain angle and strength for it to not come back and hit you or get tangled Very overpriced!!!
