El Molcajete Brand Corn Husks Hojas de Maiz Tamale Wrappers 15 oz

Wow, this bag contained a lot of husks! They were very clean, free of worm holes and other imperfections. Best husks we have ordered on Amazon yet.Most of the husks were large, great for tamales. I made around 75 tamales and only used about 1/3 of the bag.The delivery was fast and the price was right. I'm very happy with the quality of the product!

I've been making tamales for 20 years now, and I would dare say they are by far the best I've used, I will definitely be ordering these again, I've told family and friends about these , clean and good size , not those ones that we have purchased in the grocery stores! shredded, big holes, mole, hair, and let's not forget the earwigs! Thank you for taking pride in your product! Very please customer!!

These were terrible! You expect a bit of dirt here and there, but these were gross! Many of them had mold spots and holes that can only have come from insect infestation (see pictures). On top of that, even after hours of soaking they were not very pliable, which tells me they are old.

I think this product is good, but I cannot tell you it is better than the hojas one can find in well known mexican food chains. I wanted organic ones, but could not find any. These ones are big and easy to use for tamales de pollo o de cerdo, but they are very expensive compared to what one can find around here in Texas. One pound is more than enough and I had a lot to just do 30 tamales. If it is a good product I am not sure I will spend that much next time.

I bought these despite a number of bad reviews left by others, but I was pleasantly surprised. The husks I received were excellent quality. Most of the bag was larger pieces, perfect for tamale wrapping, and the husks were very fresh.

Used them this weekend, some were a little thick, some were thin. worked good.

So much better than the stuff available at supermarkets. These are large husks that are almost all usable for tamales. Unlike supermarket husks which always seem small with so many teams they are unusable.

Good quality corn husks with no unuseable husks in the bunch. Fast delivery and I have already recommended these to a friend who purchased them as well.
