We tried this jambalaya seasoning mix instead of getting the Zatarain's mixes that we usually get that include the rice. It made a great meal for us with plenty of leftovers and it was a big hit with our little family.If you were adding extra veggies to the Zatarain mix, using this mix won't really increase your up-front prep time. We added a bell pepper, a large onion and two celery sticks.It does take some extra time to simmer (for about 45 minutes) to get the best results but that is just 'waiting' time if one plans ahead. From start to finish, it took us about an hour to prepare this meal.I scanned and uploaded extra images of the package to the product image area. The rear of the package shows the instructions/recipe as well as a list of ingredients needed to make the recipe.

I only ordered this from Amazon because my idiot grocery store (Brookshires) won't stock it anymore. You can use this in many foods. From rice to jambalaya to beans to guacamole.

This is a great seasoning for ALL seafood. I use it to enhance the flavor of my salmon & shrimp. It's so good you will forget you are not at a restaurant. No other seasoning is necessary if you use this package.

Cheaper if you can find it at your local store.You can use this on just about anything, I use it on shrimp or chicken amd its fantastic. Follow directions amd finish with a little heavy cream to a boil and serve, steps it up a notch if you also add white wine.

Quick and easy way to take your shrimp to the next level. Spicy and wonderfully flavorful

First discovered at our local Safeway at the seafood counter, then they stopped stocking it years ago. No problem: mail order thru Amazon. It's just marvelous for shrimp. Hint: we prefer melting butter in a skillet and sautéing the shrimp mixture (as suggested on the label). We serve on top of brown rice. Only mistake I made ONCE was not making enough per person. We buy these by the dozen and share with our son and have some to give away. We also substitute Pickapeppa Sauce for Worcestershire, but either works great.

We have purchased this many times in the grocery store, but is getting increasingly difficult to find. I am glad we found it online.

Cajun's Choice is one of my favorite brands. I used to buy this seasoning mix at my local grocery store a few years back, but then they stopped carrying it. I came across it on Amazon and had to order some. It's been awhile since I last cooked it and forgot how good it is. Cooked it with shrimp served it over rice and it was a total hit for our weekly family dinner get together. Love to hear how much my family loves my cooking, but they really loved this seasoning mix recipe! I'll be ordering more for sure!
