I really like this machete the blade is thick, the handle has a great grip,and the sheath feels comfortable on the belt. it is the mountain pass machete so I took it to the mountains and chopped on some dead pine trees to test it out and it held up very well no rolls or dents on the blade edge.

It's just big enough for some decent bushwhacking and trailblazing, and stout enough for some decent chopping. It's a machete, not an axe or knife - more practical than tactical. It came decently sharp but I touched it up and made it razor sharp to catch the green stalks and saplings. The sheath is very nice, but I have to be careful to not cut it up when sheathing the machete with how sharp I got it. If you're wanting a somewhat shorter and heaver stock machete, this is a good one. Cheers.
