High Quality System
I did a lot of research for a rack for my Jeep Wrangler Jk and Rhino always got good reviews. I wanted something that held a lot of weight, but also allowed easy removal of the top which this system allows. The components for the systems are high quality and there was a lot of thought put into the overall design. The instructions were easy to follow, though installing the front brackets is a bit complicated. Also the fit of the brackets to my hard top was a little poor for the middle bracket, but it works fine (I just can see a gap between the top and the bracket). The cost of the system is much higher than other systems, but this one checked all the boxes for me so it was worth the high cost to me. Also, the cost of the Rhino Platform is super high. I built a custom rack that bolted into the brackets due to my application need, otherwise, I may have gone different route due to super high cost of the brackets, accessories, and the Platform. I also did not get a good understanding of the load rating. I see people using this for a roof tent which I would assume would exceed the load rating. Even on the Rhino site I see the system with a roof tent. For my application, it did not matter but if you want to use this with a roof tent you should figure this out before spending tons of money on this. Also, only Rhino accessories bolt into the system unless you do some custom fabrication. You can buy some bolt in brackets to help with your custom fabrication. I made my own brackets to bolt in Thule bars which fit what I wanted, but if you want to go with Thule or Yakama bars you'll have to do some custom work. I also wish that the bottom brackets bolted into the ledge of the hard top when the top is off. I have a Hard Top hoist which I bolt into the Rhino brackets when I pull the top so I wanted the extra support/strength of having the bottom bolted in. I will likely drill and add bolts when I pull the top again. So far it has not been an issue, but I don't think that Rhino designed the system for this type of application (pull up on the system vs a downward load).Pros:+ Well Built and High Quality+ Extra Internal Support to take load off the top (thus higher weight capacity)+ Good instructions+ Looks nice on Jeep+ Allows Removal of the top with out removing extra hardwareCons- Fit of some of the brackets is poor to the top (middle brackets had a gap to my top)- Bolt hardware is coated steel vs Stainless Steel. For the cost, it should be stainless. I expect to have to replace or paint the bolts in a few years (other people have had this issue)- High Cost of the System and Related Accessories- Bottom of the internal brackets don't bolt into top (when removed)- I had to buy new hard top bolts (the stock bolts were not long enough with the brackets installed)- The attachment of a rack is a M6 thread in the AL brackets. Repeated use will eventually strip out the threads. Hilo Coiled threads would have been better.

Ordered on 5/0/2017. Received a previously opened package on 5/11/17. Found one critical casting missing from the package (# CA 1275). Hours later I can't figure out how to obtain the missing part. Instructions have been re-photocopied so many time they are not fully legible. No US phone number provided to contact Rhino-Rack. May have to ship the entire package back. Still trying to find a solution.

Worst design ever
THis is part of a nickle and dime system that sucks in design
