This could very well be my fault for not paying full attention, but the description said "gold" frame at the time I ordered them. The "frame" wasn't gold at all it was very light colored flimsy craft wood with very cheap flimsy mirrors attached. After seeing what they were made of my boyfriend and I painted them to the color specifications of the person we were gifting them to and so that made a difference at least we were able to add a personal touch. But in hindsight I wish I would have either researched better or actually read the entire description maybe and seen that they weren't framed at all let alone with "gold" frames. Now for a craft project these are wonderful!!!

I ordered the raw color and they sent me black so I just painted it the color I wanted. They are easy to install and it comes with enough adhesive to put 4 stickers on each piece. Overall they are really cute. I wouldn’t buy these if you are using them as a mirror because the mirror is pretty warped but if your using as a decoration you can’t even tell. I love the way that they look!

This set is so lovely. The wood is so nice. It is still thin and light but definitely looks MUCH heavier and more substantial. The mirrored parts are nice too and you can even leave the film on (as it is applied super neat and really well) for more of a misty effect in the mirror – as I have actually done as I liked the way it looked so much. They look like they are made that way – really. But your call. You can use these all together or separate them out. Only the full moon will just look like a circular mirror by itself – all the others look like definitive moon shapes. These look so nice, in fact, I wish they came with hanging notches or actually wall hooks attached. They are nice enough to deserve that actually. Especially since I am not a huge fan of sticking stuff to any of my painted walls… I am actually going to attach wall hooks myself. You do you, though. This looks very cheap, very dollar store unfortunately. I had high hopes but unfortunately this wasn't great. The adhesive is so strong it may pull your paint off the wall, it did for me. Where ever you place it is where it's staying, choose wisely. The "mirrors" give carnival fun house. Skip this one.
