Chemistry Model Kit - Molecular Model Kit for General and Organic Chemistry - Student and Teacher Molecular Modeling Set (123 Pieces)

I started using this model when unable to understand some of the reactions and how they changed without visually and manually working through the rearrangements of the molecules. This is an affordable kit but lacks additional colors for more complex reactions found in the university level. I'm sure there are kits with more colored balls so this one I had to sometimes use a different color for some molecules. This is great for any middle school, high school and freshmen in college. May need to buy a kit with more options if the student is more advanced in college courses and just wants to grab and work on the kit without having to substitute molecules.

I bought this for my friend who is struggling through Organic Chemistry, and she loves it! Especially as someone who learns best tactically, this kit really helps her visualize molecules that would otherwise be hard to visualize from a flat 2D representation. It appears to be well made (it's still pretty new), but I think it's gonna hold up over time. The included tool to help remove some of the links is also really helpful. As long as this holds up over time, I think this is a great kit to have, especially if you are going through a difficult class like Organic Chemistry!

I love these things! Although I think the Oxygen atoms should have three holes instead of two in order to help us visualize organic acid-base reactions (ex-alcohol group absorbing a proton from a hydronium molecule; both oxygens would need three holes in order to represent the reaction)

These models are comparable to computer generated models and serve to illustrate 3-dimensional molecular interactions.

Good product inside of the box as the molecular model is quality and easy to assemble. The problem I have is with the box. There is no lock system on the box which causes all of the pieces to fall out when I take it to my organic chemistry classes in my backpack. The package is not suitable for a college student who would like to carry it in a backpack.

Gets the job done for a great price! I also appreciated the progress emails of my shipment from the company. The set is small and compact with all pieces included. This transaction was excellent and the set has worked very well so far.

The quality of the product is much better than I had initially anticipated for the price point. I like how the connections are sturdy but at the same time effortless to remove with the included tool. The extra long double/triple bonds flex without popping out and hold their shape pretty well. I anticipate being able to connect and re-connect them innumerable times before they degrade in quality. Each part of this set is very well made -no cracks, no peeling, no excess material. What you see in the item picture is what you get. So far, a great purchase on my part.

Great product. All the pieces came with it, I counted. Good quality it won't break on you and it doesn't have a sloppy look to them. Helps learn organic chem.
