Purina Pro Plan Hairball Dry Cat Food, FOCUS Hairball Management Chicken & Rice Formula - 3.5 lb. Bag - my very picky Maine Coon gobbles up this food. He has eaten it for about a week, so I've yet to determine if it has helped his hairball situation. Nothing in the past week, so maybe it is working. I'm truly glad that he likes the flavor, he even seems to prefer it over his wet food which is a miracle. Recommend.

This cat food helped to reduce bilious and hairball vomiting for my cat dx with mild ibd based on blood tests and ultrasound. I do frequent small feed with wet food and this dry food. my cat likes this chicken (didn’t like the turkey and rice indoor hairball version but now this is out of stock and this is purina’s response - Ongoing industry-wide supply chain challenges are making it difficult to get key ingredients that meet our quality and safety requirements, which has led to the difficult decision to suspend production on some products, including Pro Plan Adult Hairball Management Chicken & Rice Formula.

My picky eater kitty loved this food!!!! I was previously feeding her Hill Science diet hair ball formula and she ate it for a while but suddenly stopped. She lost almost 2 lbs because she would rather starve than eat something she doesn’t like. I got this food for her and she’s gained all her weight back in like a week. She’s been eating so much that now I feel like I have to measure her food out and only put in her bowl what she should have for the day. She’s never eaten this much before. As far as the hair ball control, I will have to come back to give an update for that. We’ve struggled with hair balls a lot and I’ve tried so many different foods and treats. Hoping this one makes a bigger difference.

Couldn’t get usual hairball cat food so trying this brand. Hopefully, cats will like it! Price seemed comparable.

Our kitty loves this and has been eating it for almost 3 years now. With the hairball management formula, we no longer have problems with hairballs which is a huge bonus! When she first came to live with us, she was constantly coughing up hairballs, which was going to be a big problem for a neat freak like me. This was also our first pet, so we asked our vet a lot of questions. We really didn't want to always have to give her hairball medicine, and our vet recommended this product. Only on rare occasions now, does kitty have a hairball (usually it's when we go away for the weekend...then we have a surprise gift waiting for us!) Although it's a dry food, it's not super dry like the inexpensive cat foods at the supermarket. Our kitty's pelt is super soft and luxuriously shiny. She's playful, happy and healthy.

My picky girls actually love this, and it works! I have a long-haired cat that used to have hairballs daily. Now it's maybe once a month since I started feeding her this once a day. My short hair never has hairballs now! My only complaint is that it isn't grain-free but maybe that is what makes it work so well. I've tried additives in wet food without good results so I'm glad this does what it says. I vary their wet food daily so they don't get too used to the food since I have to feed them this every day. When my girls eat the same thing too long they get bored, so it'd be nice to have more flavors.

My cats will only eat Purina Pro Plan FOCUS Hairball Management Adult Dry Cat Food. 2 of my cats have hairball issues and this food helps with that issue a lot! My local store does not sell this food so I always have to buy it off from Amazon, which can be a bother on occasion.... I do not know why they are so darn fussy! I have tried so many different types of food! Anyways they love it, it is controlling the hairballs, they seem healthy on it, so no complaints.

I've fed my cat Pro Plan dry food for the last 10+ years along with Pro Plan wet foods. I have no actual evidence but would swear by it as a great choice for the kibble portion of your kitty's diet.Having a cat who's an obsessive licker, the Pro Plan Hairball formula was the whole reason I tried Pro Plan to begin with. It was the first 'hairball formula' food that I actually seen results from and I stuck with it.Now, at 19 1/2 years old, I feed my kitty a lot more wet food for kidney health, but she still is allowed to have the Pro Plan Hairball Formula kibble and I rarely have a hairball problem.The cat also likes it.
