I wanted to wait until I tried this for a second time before I left a review. The first time I used it I followed the instructions, clean hair. Which left my hair feeling like straw and nasty even after conditioning. This last time I used it I decided to start with dirty hair. Then I was able to wash it and condition it and my hair felt just like normal after!

I could not brush my hair after showering. Tried blow drying a bit and then brushing and noticed I couldn’t even run my fingers through my hair starting at my scalp. This is after using conditioner at the length. It was so distressing that I had to take another shower, apply a hair mask for twenty minutes and try again. After 20 minutes of brushing my hair which is down to my backside, I gave up and braided it. Will return this immediately. I am worried it not only stripped the recent color that was applied to my hair, but every bit of health and moisture. My hair is ruined.

I have only used this a total of two times since I got it, but I have already noticed a major difference in my hair care routine. In the winter my scalp gets really dry and while I do my best to keep the dandruff at bay, I needed some extra help. This helps break up the dead skin and loosens up any dirt making my wash last even longer than it used to. I used to have to wash my hair every 3-4 days, and I noticed that it wasn’t oily until day 6. I do wish the consistency was thinner, but that’s my only complaint so far.

I've only used it once i like the feel of it it's very salty and it does make your hair dry i had to call the company to make sure i'm doing it right so they answered me and i'm very happy with them responding to me i've only used it one time so i can't say exactly how i feel but i think it's working pretty good to get the gunk out of yourself

My hair is thinning due to having lovely Covid 3 times. I tried this product by itself as directed, but it seriously entangled my hair. Took forever to get it combed out after showering, which is not something I need for my hair right now. It might work for straight hair much better than my semi-curly dry hair.

Thick paste, large granules and it was hard to work through hair and reach scalp. Now that hair is drying from shower it feels super dry and crackly. Hair has volume, but I don't feel like it scrubbed anything. To top I see photos here with some people had a safety seal on their product, where amazon sent me one without a safety seal and now I feel awful for even using it, not knowing. The scent is nice, but it does not stay. If I didn't have the triple threat moisturizing conditioner (not mask) my hair would probably be even more dry. I hate this product and I'm using a lot of other Her's products right now also. I think I'm going to return this and get something with smaller granules and easier to work through my hair. I don't wash daily so I was hoping it would help with buildup, but now I'll have to mask my hair tonight and throw my whole weekly routine off. I'm going with a different brand of expholiant after this.

I use this product every time I was my hair to exfoliate the scalp before I shampoo. It smells amazing and I like that it doesn’t make a mess in the shower. My hair comes out really soft and no residue.

I have struggled with limp thin hair for years. Finding this product has changed my life. Visible results in one wash. The body and fullness it gives my hair is amazing. I love it. I follow it up with the rapid repair hair mask so it makes it more manageable to comb through. I would not recommend this product for someone who already has thick hair.
