THIS is the product to buy
This product sticks and stays, catches and kills without introducing poison. FABULOUS, nothing else works as well. Be careful, no foolishness when applying, it's terribly sticky.

Clogs easily
Does what itโs supposed to but clogs frequently. Keep mineral spirits close

Not as effective as the brush on
We live in a rural area and are plagued with deer-fly season for about 6 weeks of the summer that make it unenjoyable to be out in the yard. We've used the brush on tangle trap for a few years with pretty good results. Although it doesn't eliminate the deer fly population it at least felt like we were getting rid of some of them. When my brush-on supply ran out I thought I'd try this aerosol application since I usually get it all over my fingers and it's hard to clean off. I read the reviews an several people mentioned the aerosol wasn't sticky enough. I thought I'd give it a chance since it seemed so much easier and faster to apply. Well - they were right. There is enough stick to catch some very small flies and gnats but of the 5 traps we put out not a single deer fly was caught. I even thought maybe we needed to put a second coat on the traps to make it sticky enough. Still didn't make a difference. Looks like I'm going back to the brush on application with a side of citrus cleaner to clean up my hands afterwards.
