Kalorik MAXX Plus 6 Quart Digital Air Fryer

Got the air fryer 2 weeks ago to upgrade from the Kalorik air fryer I purchased at Walmart like 6 months ago! The stainless steel model looks awesome on my kitchen counter, my prior model was black! Besides the aesthetics, this model has more features, is easier to use, has way more food presets, cooks the food faster and more evenly than my previous model! It has huge knob to select your food presets, cooking time and temperature! Much easier than my previous model! This model is also non stick so it’s way easier to clean! In older model the food would stick even while spraying non stick cooking oil so I didn’t use it as much as I use this model! Both models were 6 Quarts! The only drawback is that it costs twice the price, older model was around $70! So far, I love this model and and I’m very happy with the upgrade!

My current air fryer starting malfunctioning so I began the search for a new one and came across the Kalorik for $50 off on Prime Day. After reading many reviews and watching many videos on different brands I decided to go with this one. It wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the dial knob as opposed to the push button function that I'm used to however I actually kind of like it better. My old Air fryer was a 5.8 quart and this one is a 6 quart so not really a difference in the actual quart size however this one is much smaller in visual size then my old one. My old one, though I loved it, was very tall and bulky. I definitely recommend washing the basic first, then running it for the recommended 20 minutes with no food in it when you first get it to get rid of the smell. I put it on air Fry at 400° for 20 minutes and as soon as it turned on it had a very strong smell and about 10 minutes in I noticed the smell had decreased drastically and by the time the 20 minutes was up there was barely a smell. The manual did say there may be smoke during this however I did not see any smoke but I did have my ceiling fan on in the kitchen so that may have helped.Update: I've had this air fryer for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. This is the 4th air fryer that I've owned and this is by far the easiest one to clean. Nothing sticks to it, the food and grease literally slide right off. I have made hamburgers, french fries, chicken fajitas, potatoes and much more and everything comes out perfectly and cleaning is a breeze.

I've found this very convenient for all sorts of cooking; I've used my oven a lot less in the past year, and even my microwave has gotten a rest since this is almost as fast for reheating and gives better results.I tend to clean it at least a couple times a week, to keep the basket and floor plate from getting built-up grease. Using liners would also help some. I got this unit in part because it goes to 450F for searing meats. It does a decent job on everything from lamb to chicken and steak, though with burgers I have to empty the grease out between "courses" or else I'll start to get too much smoke inside the house.My only concern is with the electronics. I've just hit (or passed) the one year warranty, and now I'm seeing it intermittently start to cycle through the presets on its own as though someone were turning the control knob. I don't know if there's a risk of the thing starting up by itself, but I've started to unplug it when not in use, just in case. I've contacted the manufacturer and will update this review with whatever results. I'd be disappointed if it becomes unusable shortly; it's been very handy, but I wouldn't expect it to only last a year.

I like everything about this air fryer. The stainless steel with blue LED lights is very pretty, it’s easy to use with the 20+ digital pre sets and the 6 qt basket is perfect size for everything I want to put in it.

I bought this after shopping a few other models a few weeks before Christmas fir myself. I live alone and hate heating up the oven for just the small amount of food that I eat. I absolutely love this air fryer! So easy to use and even easier to clean. I just sent this info to my sister who has been shopping for one!

The air fryer arrived much quicker than expected, nice surprise!! I read all the instructions, plugged it in and was ready to go . Nice quality, looks great on my cupboard.

I really liked this fryer, After a few months it smokes up a lot that my condo alarms went off , Yes it is pretty, But beware , I also bought the x warranty I did notify them And they want documents ,Which I do not have, I bought this warranty threw AMAZON WITH THE Fryer 6 quartAnd I am still waiting All that I want is to buy a other fryer but never again a Kaloric buyer BEWARE

Couple times runing on empty ti get rid of factory smell and then used several times ....the factory smell still present.I think that I will return productOther than that - great
