HobbyKing HXT900 Micro Servo 1.6kg / 0.12sec / 9g

The servo gave me no issues and was as advertised. I did a little project involving my Raspberry Pi using it.

These are a direct replacement for the servos that Horizon/Eflite/Parkzone use in their park-flier size planes. The only real difference is that these have shorter leads on them than wing servos usually do. The gears are even identical, so that repair gear sets for these are drop-in for the Horizon servos. They are comparable, not a step up, but are ~$7 vs. ~$18.

No need to spend a lot of money for 9g servos when these work extremely well and seem to last a long time. I'm pleased with them.

These are perfect, low cost and for simple SLOW STICK flying they will be great!

I had a hard time finding the hole size in the servo arm / horn. So I didn't know what size metal I needed to make push rods for my RC Plane project. .032 inch / .81mm music wire worked perfectly. I bought it at the local Ace Hardware Store here in the US. For $2 I got four pieces 36 " long. The OEM is K&S Precision Metals Stock # 501
