Works well.
It's well made and it is extremely quiet on low loads but can get a little louder as it ramps up, but 90 % of the time it's very quiet. I love the cables it came with. They where the perfect size for the case I was using so it made cable management a breeze.

Mighty power in a small package
I'd been looking for a power supply to for itx case. Did realize there were so many different sizes. Popped this went in and it was perfect. And the completely module cables actually made a big difference. It's very nice, small and compact but definitely very powerful for its size.

Rock solid psu for sff builds
iโve been using this power supply in my small form factor build and itโs been rock solid so far. the fully modular design made cable management way easier, and the angled cables are a nice touch for tight spaces. it runs very quiet, even under load, and having the newer atx and pcie standards gives me some peace of mind for future gpu upgrades. overall, it feels well built and reliable, which is exactly what i want in a psu

The included short cables are perfect for minisforum deg2 eGPU
The short cables which come with this are perfect for the minisforum deg2 eGPU since the power supply sits next to the "mother board" connector and there is not a lot of messy excess cable to wrap up. On the other hand, the right-angled 16-pin cable for the graphics card power cable is bent the "wrong way" and the cable had to be looped around to be attached to my asus proart geforce rtx 5070 TI on the eGPU. I believe this is the standard orientation for these right angled cables, though. It still was fairly short and does not look bad. Note that the deg2 installation video shows the thumb screws installed in the wrong holes in the deg2 for an SFX sized power supply, so just just do the right thing instead.

Does not come with all cables.
3 PCI slots but only comes with 2 cables, do not buy if using high end graphics cards. In fact, if you're not using your grandpa's old GPU then it's a safer bet to go a different route, might be a chance you get the cables you need. Update: Also the logic of selling a psu that obviously has a near 100% chance of going into a mini-itx form factor case, along with the stiffest ribbon cables I've ever seen (with pigtails instead of the actual number of cables that it should come with, i.e. previous issue with this psu) is hilarious. Aside from being stubbornly stiff and difficult to route, the pigtails are either useless and in the way, adding unnecessary material, or difficult to use and in the way. Luckily there's cages over my aio fans otherwise there would be absolutely no way to keep the pigtails from going into the fan blade. Added bonus is I'm using an NR200P, which is THEIR CASE! I'm shocked so little thought went into the compatibility of two products, made by the same company, that are highly likely to be paired together.

Decent but overpriced in my opinion as most Form factor parts are.
The Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold packs a serious punch in a miniature package, but is it the perfect PSU for your mini-ITX build? Let's dive in: Powerhouse in a Pint-Sized Package: 850W of juice makes it suitable for even the most power-hungry builds, from high-end CPUs to RTX 3080s. 80+ Gold efficiency keeps energy waste and your electricity bill in check. Compact SFX form factor fits snugly in mini-ITX cases, leaving room for your other components to shine. Whisper-Quiet Cooling: (mostly) FDB fan spins silently under normal loads, keeping your rig a tranquil oasis. Even under heavy pressure, noise levels stay surprisingly low, although some users report a noticeable hum. Modular Magic: โจ Fully modular cables let you ditch the clutter and keep your case looking sleek and tidy. High-quality braided cables are durable and flexible, making installation a breeze. A Few Snags to Consider: Price tag reflects the premium performance and compact size, making it pricier than some non-SFX options. The included SFX-to-ATX bracket might be unnecessary for some mini-ITX cases and adds extra bulk. A couple of user reports mention coil whine under specific workloads, though not a widespread issue. Verdict: The Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold is a top contender for mini-ITX builders seeking top-tier power and quiet operation. Its compact size, high efficiency, and modular cables make it a dream for building clean and cool rigs. However, the premium price tag and potential for minor noise quirks might give budget-conscious or noise-sensitive users pause. In short: Get it if: You want the best power delivery and efficiency for your mini-ITX build, prioritize low noise, and appreciate quality craftsmanship. Skip it if: You're on a tight budget, can tolerate a bit more noise, or don't need the absolute power-house performance for your setup.

Almost Perfect
So, I got this when I wanted to build my very first SFF case, but alas, it never arrived. Amazon made it right but I eventually just ended up buying another one elsewhere. I was sad it didn't come with the 40 series adapter but meh, it was a great sale at the time. It was a little louder than my SF750 Corsair PSU but that was to be expected. Overall, it is a good PSU if you don't need whisper quiet and from what I hear, it's been upgraded so give it a shot, you won't be disappointed (unless maybe you work in a library).

A well constructed PSU from a well known brand
You can expect superior packaging, extensive manual, and reliability. + Fully Modular, use only the cables you need. + 850W and 80 Plus Gold, decent efficiency and an abundance of power. + White with bits of black for aesthetics and/or contrast. + SFX form factor, great for smaller cases

surprisingly good.
I had 2 corsair sf 850s, both had pretty bad coil whine and electrical interference. So i bought a different brand, this cooler master sfx model. No coil whine or electrical interference. cables are a little stiff at first but get better after you bend them around a bit. The fan can stay on for a while after a workload but its at a noise volume and frequency where its pretty acceptable. Giving it full stars. Good job CM.

Short PCIE cables and UK power cord canโt be plugged into the wall
Received today the item and started to mount it on my pc, however the PCIE cables are really short, also the power cord head is way too small to be able and plug it into the socket. No ideea why.

Great psu for sff builds
I got this psu as part of a small form factor build - Aorus B550i, Ryzen 5 5600x, Sapphire Nitro 6700xt, Corsair 32GB RAM, and Sabrent 2TB (PCIE4) and Corsair 2TB (PCIE3) M2 drives, and a Noctua L9a cooler. This all fit into a Fractal Terra case and the PSU provides stable, clean power to all the components. The PSU itself is easy to mount, compact, and has clearly labelled connectors that tell you which end plugs into the PSU and which end plugs into your component. The labeling on the PSU case is also clear to minimize errors when you plug things in. The cable lengths are a bit long for a Fractal Terra. (if you're building in a mATX case, they should be fine). But for my build, I had to really compress the cables and tie them down to the spine to allow the Terra side panels to close. If possible, I would like to see shorter cable length options available when you purchase the PSU or have shorter cables included. I'd pay a bit more money to have that option for a cleaner look (and less stress on the cable). I don't expect too any issues with power load as my system will not be overclocked and at full draw on the CPU and GPU, should only be around 40-45% of the PSU max wattage.
