I have a lot of bright lights in my room, so I needed something to make the lights dim enough to let me sleep, but still visible enough to read in case I need to. I eventually stumbled on to this product, and decided to give it a try.These lightdims work quite brilliantly on my main modem, and I'm going to use them on some of the other devices in my room. There are plenty of dimmers in the provided sheets, and the packaging is very easy to follow. Installing these dimmers is also pretty simple.I'd recommend this to anyone who needs to deal with the scourge of lights on every modern electronic device nowadays.

I all started one night when I got up and noticed how bright my apartment was. There were lights from the appliances and clocks, the wifi access point, an ethernet switch, my printer, the gaming console, etc. All the flashing lights of a modern tech nerds abode. At first I used tape, but sometimes you need to see those lights. I tried mant hings, but all failed either because they completely obscured the indicators or looked as clunky as my crafting abilities are. I heard about these sort of things somewhere, and I rushed to Amazon to find these. I love them. If you're reasonably careful about installing them, they often look like I bought the device that way. We had a party and pasted over every light in the apartment. Peace and contentment reins.I couldn't give these things a 5 star sweep though because of two minor issues. First, the sheet you get is pretty sparse with the blockers. They look like they were created by cutting away excess material and there is a lot of blank space between them. That implies a lot of wasted space, maybe use smaller sheets or give us more stickers. The second issue is that they are quite difficult to get off the backing paper, especially if you are not the most dexterous. I found a decent pair of tweezers really helps.In the end, though, these are reasonably priced, even taking into account the number I couldn;t use due to my own ham handedness. Buy them. Use them. Sleep peacefully...

It does dim the overly-bright displays. But it's darker than I expected. Still usable.

Did exactly what they said it would do. I just replaced a hardwired smoke detector on the ceiling and it cast a crazy green glow across the wall in our bedroom. I used one of the smaller dots and now it is dim. You can still see the tiny green dot if you need to. Also used one on the mesh router in our bedroom which was an obnoxious blue LED. Perfect now. These are great and worth the money.

We have a few different devices around the bedroom with LEDs that some jerk product designer thought would be really super cool looking if they were just always on, even when the device is off. Instead of moving around furniture to unplug the stuff and paying more for smart outlets, we thought maybe these stickers could work to cover up the lights and help us sleep a bit better, as we've been stuffing dog toys in front of the lights and honestly it's not super fun grabbing a spit covered teddy bear at 2am to cover a light.So I grabbed these and figured we'd try 'em out. They do definitely make a noticeable difference, but I'd say it only blocks about 25-50% of the light. If you're sensitive to any light, these won't do the trick. They did largely solve the problem for one of the dimmer lights, but our TV has a larger and brighter light that simply refuses to dull. Good for it, I wish I were the same. But alas, its power was too much for these stickers.

These are absolutely fantastic. I live in a small apartment and have to have my home office in the bedroom - that's 3 computers and an bunch of peripherals. Naturally everything has LED's on it (printer, computers, desk lamp, monitor, etc.), and would make it a nightmare for anyone who likes a dark room to get any sleep. I randomly found and ordered these online, and now have them on pretty much everything.Pros:- The film is sufficiently dark. Most LED's can be dimmed enough with a single sticker. There were only a few really bright LED's where I needed to use two.- The material isn't overly sticky; it adheres well, but it also comes off clean and without residue.- If applied to a black device, these are almost impossible to see unless you look closely. If anything, they just look like an integral glossy LED cover rather than a sticker.- My order of black stickers actually came with a sample of the white ones. I have a number of Apple devices so this was convenient. They're not quite as effective as the black stickers but they do work, and it's nice to have the option to match white devices.Cons:- The fact that they're not overly sticky makes it hard to get them to stick to angled surfaces. Some thing with a slight curve to it is fine, but bending one of the smaller stickers around a corner on something doesn't work.- $6 seems a little steep for what these are (basically just stamped window tinting film), though the fact that I'm planning to order more probably suggests the end result is worth it.Overall, despite being a little overpriced these are extremely useful and highly recommended.
