Sweet little welder
Welding mask lens clamps are to small for the lens but this guy packs a punch.. it knocked my whole garage circuit out, lol my garage circuit is ran off a 15 amp I guess that was not strong enough.. lol.. I got to wait for an electrician to come tomorrow to put a bigger circuit in. it runs perfect on the outside house gfci outlet ..

I received this welder for Christmas, although it wasn't the package deal. It was just the welder alone. When I tried to test the machine, it did not power up, no lights, no fan, no noise at all. I assumed it was an underpowered outlet. I then tried another outlet on a different circuit, nothing. One more shot, I tried it on a dedicated outlet, 20 amp circuit, with no other items on the circuit. No joy. Not even a humming feeling coming from the box. I then contacted Stahlwerk directly. Their customer service was prompt, polite and informative. They could not help with my issue, as it is not their product. She gave me the evidence, and pointed out the extra "S" in the brands name as listed on Amazon. Although, the company is illegally printing the actual Stahlwerk name on the machine, not S Stahlwerk. Upon following up, I could clearly see that she was right, and Stahlwerk did indeed not have a model 2040t listed anywhere in their lineup. I do not believe that it is any coincidence that this particular offering now says "currently not available". Needless to say, my machine will be returned. I really just wanted to do my best to prevent anyone from falling into this trap.

Small but amazing!!
Been a month now, imma give it my best review. Honestly works amazing and really loved it. After the first week of having it I practiced every day with it. After I learned a bit I was able to weld my own exhaust system, works amazing, haven’t over heated. 10/10 and recommended!!

Don’t let the size fool you
When I first received it I asked myself wtf is this I had my doubts and got laughed at but to mine and the people that laughed had a big surprise this is a grate buy and easy to use I’m happy with this Machine I have not tried hooking it to 220 yet so far 110 has been sufficient if you need a good easy welder this one’s for you
