I have a naughty kitten under a year old. While my older cat leaves my tubes alone for the most part, the kitten CANNOT stop himself from chewing the heck out of my short tube that goes from my 6' hose to my mask that wasn't covered by my previous hose cover.. I made a couple of changes - I ordered short tube replacements from Amazon. The local C-Pap store doesn't keep the short tubes in stock. Ordering the tube replacements from Amazon got the tubes to me much quicker than waiting for the local store to order them for me. My insurance might have covered them through the local store, but it would have taken 3x as long as Amazon took to get them to me. And I am SO GLAD I did. One thing I noticed when I got the replacement short tubes (there were like two in a pack) is that the are considerably sturdier than the short tube that came with my machine! I could not believe it! The plastic feels just slightly thicker and the coil is stronger. I tried to make sure to put my mask away really well, unfortunately the cat kept coming up to my face and trying to chew on the tube so I knew I had to do something to further discourage him. I didn't want to try any kind of "no bite" or deterrents on something that is so close to my face/eyes. This cover worked perfectly. It zipped up easily and covers from the back of my machine all the way to the joint connector on my mask. There is no unexposed soft plastic and the cat is not interested in this anymore. There is a little bit of excess material. That kind of stinks if I get the tube stuck on something or a pull it too hard and it disconnects inside the cover. But other than that, it works great and I am pretty happy with it.

Disappointed to say when putting on one side of it fell apart. Appeared to be only a stitch or two holding it together and not machine sewn to the zip. I’ll get the sewing machine and see it myself as don’t have the energy to return. Quality control of product needs to be checked.
