I drink my Orange 🍊 Crush 25w everyday!
Orange of course makes great products and we all know that. But choosing an amp , bass or guitar isn't something you should do by "brand name". I love Orange Amps and their cabinets, heads because of that classic British Rock sound that it naturally gives out and the sleak classy look of their products, also it's the Sound that I am looking for. Definitely make sure you do extensive research on any instruments or amplifiers you seek to purchase. You may want a Marshall because you see all your favorites play Marshall (which is a stellar brand as well) but come to find out that Ampeg is more your sound or you just might like how Orange Amps sounds according to your specific sound, pedals, what you see your music becoming. Don't just buy stuff because it's expensive or has a stellar name. But buy instruments and amplifiers that fit to your own personal sound and vision. Still, with that being said Orange Amps are incredible and the only amplifier that I will recommend. I bought this Orange Crush 25 for practice and light recording and it's absolutely perfect and sounds as good if not better than it's larger siblings like the massive 500w that can pull a house down. So yeah I'm a Orange Amps Man through and through.

Happy Teenager
Given the COVID-19 scenario, my son asked for a bass, to give him something to do. Being a long-time musician, I was thrilled by his request. To go along with that, I started looking for bass amps and favored the Orange Bass amps, and sadly couldn't find an actual orange color but found one that was a great first amp professional made. Needless to say, he's in love with it and is suffering some hand-cramps, til I explained to him how to properly hold the neck. You all rock!

Expected more
With all the great reviews I guess I was expecting more. Tried this amp both with a passive and active bass. The passive I had put it on full volume and put it through a pedal that boost the signal to get any volume/tone out of it (pad was in the proper position). The active was a little better. I have a Markbass practice amp that's half the size but produces 3-4 times the volume/tone so I know it can be done in a small package. My small guitar (not bass)amp produced more bass that this thing. This is one instance of "you get what you pay for" does not apply. I would think a small/cheap Fender or Ampeg amp would do just as well.It is a nice looking amp, the knobs are kind of cheapish though.

Gel Packet Beads Inside Amp
Love my new amp, but the moisture wicking gel packet broke during shipping, and a large number of gel beads found their way inside the bass tunnel hole. I could shake most of them out, but a half dozen could not be removed. I took it to my local shop, they warned me the warranty would be violated if they opened it, and I said that sure beats those dang beads melting onto the electronics. They removed them for me, just $10, but a lot of hassle and worry and warranty impact. Orange does everything else perfectly, but rethink the gel pack and the open bass tunnel tube thing that lets the beads find their way inside. Yes, a weird, perhaps rare, complaint, but this is what happened. Other than that, this is a super sexy sounding little amp! I bought the black colored one, 25W, also looks awesome! The amp makes me sound better than I am! Get one! Orange is awesome!
