These are lovely, and work very well on my curtains. I have two things of note, both negative unfortunately but that's not to say they aren't good. It's just that there's not much to say positively except that they work well and look fairly nice.First, I ordered enough for 6 windows and did end up with a significant variance in color between the sets situation. Each set seemed fine and even most of them looked fine together, but if you had six sets lined up like me then you could see that one set was different in color and darker than the rest. 1 out of 6 might be a fluke, but it could also be that I beat the odds in getting only one mismatch. In my opinion, it's not very noticeable once they are on curtains, but I did put the darker ones on curtains further away from the rest so there would be less comparison.Secondly, if you look closely there are some ugly varnish/finish issues. This varied between sets as well, so some looked perfect and others had a lot, but overall I would say it was reasonably negligible. Obviously if someone goes and lets the curtains down they'll see that these aren't perfect, but unless you handle them or look specifically I don't think it's noticeable.Bottom line? I'm happy with the purchase, but if I had paid more I'd be upset. I'm not trying to win awards for home decor so I'm satisfied that they just look decent enough and function. The design is beautiful, also, so even if it's executed somewhat cheaply I think it's still striking. Definitely could be better made though, and if they were these would easily be gorgeous. Of course they'd be more expensive then, so!

I just got these, so I can't speak to the longevity of them. I imagine they will last a long time since they are bamboo.That said, I LOVE these. They are beautiful - very classy looking, in my opinion - easy to put on, look unusual and striking on my curtains, and don't require putting holes in your walls. I have relatively heavy blackout curtains, and I can fit either one or two panels in them easily. I also like that they are bamboo (I'm not sure why some reviewers say they are plastic). They look just like the picture, so you know what you are getting.I very, very rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one about these to encourage others to try them. I like them so much that I'm ordering another pair for a different room.

Maybe it's my fault for not just sending them back as soon as I saw how poorly made these things are, but my brand new satin-finish curtains are destroyed from just putting these things on and now I have to leave my drapes open to avoid showing how these things trashed my decor. Okay, so these seem to be doing the job of holding the curtains back, but so would stabbing a sword through each panel and into the wall. That might have done less damage to my curtains, actually. Also, they are GNARLY looking - and not in a good way. This looks like scrapped, post-industrial waste, up-close. The plastic almost seems like the vinyl records are pressed on, but thick, jagged, and inconsistently textured. There are chunks and gouges missing from each crudely curled and inflexible chunk of scrap plastic.

These modern spiral curtain hold-backs in bamboo, I like better than the more plastic ones. Unfortunately they did not work for me. They slipped down on my shears - then for the drapes they were too small. You have to have a medium type of fabric drape for these to work.I like the look because normally I just tie together two panels of sheers for the same look.

I love my Spiral Curtain Holdbacks! The spirals wrap on, and hold our thickest curtains easily and without slipping off. Once in place, you can manually adjust them up or down the curtain to set an any level you wish. My favorite part is there is NO hardware to permanently install (as with traditional curtain holdback hooks) in the adjacent wall and potentially damage the sheetrock if the hooks pops off, when you failed to properly locate the wall stud! They are super simple to use on any curtain. I just remind myself to be careful as to not force the fabric in too hard as to break the holder. And they look great on the curtains as well.

I like the design. It's unusual. The fault isn't in the product. I tried to use these with burlap window panels. Burlap is thick and stiff. This product needs something drapey.

Does the job, definite PVC look to them. Very easy to install - just wrap curtains through and you're done. I used them for about a week and took down, couldn't take the plastic look, but that's just me.
