MS Bee Cotton Beekeeper Suit With One Pair Gloves and Fencing Veil

The MS Professional Bee Suit exceeded my expectations with its high quality construction. It fit true to size, had good zippers and material and came in a nice zippered case to keep it in. I used it this weekend and it worked great to check my hive and keep me comfortable.

Arrived on time and well packaged. I haven't used it yet but I'm confident it's going to work exactly as it should. Material is nice and thick, seems are strong, zippers overlap and are covered by a flap of material with velcro. Hood is roomy and comfortable, and the screen is sturdy. Gloves are nice, fit well, and won't be cumbersome at all to use.

One...this is the first bee suit I have used...so i didn't know what to expect.2. Whoever warned about the size needing to be two sizes up from the listed measurement was spot on...accorsing to measurents I should have needed a 1x-2x..I got a 4x to make sure my husband got wear it too.3.. The fit was good except the legs to long and arms to long and ceeated folds. The legs were ok, used the elastic band to make sure the suit stayed over the ankle area (I also used thick socks and full leather shoes). The folds on the arms created pockets that the yellow jackets got into and stung through the suit in those folds so be careful.3. If I had not had this suit on, I would have died. I was trying to move a ladder that husband had used and gotten stung around and a tool kit, while putting sevin dust in the area....we thought it was a small ground nest..IT is not....over a thousand yellow jackets swelled out of the area...and me..it took over 20 minutes and being sprayed with bee spray to get clear of the yellow jackets...the whole time they were trying to sting me...they stung me 7 times... 5 times in the folds of the arms, one on my chin (I leaned forward to put the sevin dust on the area from where they swarmed and my chin had gotten right up against the netting, which was my fault) and one in a bathing suit area...ouch..I used a drawing salve on the areas..4. This suit is made very well and only a very high priced professional suit could have been better.I would definately recommend this suit!!

Works ok.little light bees can sting through at times

I could have bought a $29 cheap Halloween costume or spent the extra $20 on the real deal. I know nothing about bee keeping, but it is awesome! I should have gone a size bigger. I'm 6'2" and 215 lbs (perfect cylinder) and it's a bit snug. It'll work perfect for Halloween. It has pockets for my phone and keys. I also bought some little plastic bee's to attach to the costume. I might end up beecoming an actual bee keeper just because I one it. Great quality of fabric and it's legit.

This MS Professional Brand Bee Suit was very helpful in protecting me from yellow jackets when I removed their ground nest.However, the stitching that joins the hood to the body was loose and had to be repaired before use, and after one use one of the ankle zippers failed and had to be removed and replaced. Luckily we had a spare zipper and knew how to repair these issues. IMHO: Buy a higher end suit if you plan on everyday use.UPDATE 10/20/22 Yellow jacket wasps can indeed sting through the fabric. Got nailed through the leg fabric combined with a denim pant leg today and was quite surprised. Use care, not 100% effective.

this suit is EXCELLENTto give a background, i was living in an apartment, but i bought a house.. at the time i was only going to the house maybe once a month as it took me a few months to transitionso i went to the house one day and bees were making a nest literally at the top of the front door.. somehow i got in the house and got back to my apartment with no issuestime passed and i went back to the house.. this time the bees rebuilt their nest at the front door and this time i got stung just trying to walk insideit really hurt.. i came to the realization that i needed a defense because i was only stung once, but if i had been stung multiples times, it could've been really traumatic.. having bees at your front door is just very demoralizing.. u just sit in the car like "how am i going to get in there?"anyway i got the idea to look up bee suits.. i found this one and bought it.. the next time i went to the house which was maybe a month later, there was another nest on the front of the house.. except this one was wasps.. and it was way bigger than the previous nests i dealt withi suited up.. went outside with a broom, and got those things away from my house.. i felt like i took my power back.. i would say this suit is a must buy.. there's no way i would've been able to do what i did without this suit.. i had to swat the thing multiple times.. it seemed like it was super glued up there.. if i wasn't protected, it would've been game overonce i finally got it down, i hit it out into the yard like i was playing golf.. it was greati've used this suit more times since then for multiple reasons.. i've even just used the gloves by themselves sometimesi've used the gloves by themselves sometimes when i had to touch things i didn't want to touchi've used the suit to do tasks outside and not have to swat bugs every 30 secondsi've also used the suit to go in the crawlspace of my house multiple timesthis suit is a must buy because it makes it so that you can do things that you wouldn't normally be able to do.. i feel that the quality is great on this suit.. i highly recommend it
