Great tool perfect for cutting the bag

This might work well for ripping seams from a garment but not for this. I tried it when it came this morning. Because of the material that the stoma patch is made from it is hard to work with. This Mediss Ostomy Bag Scissor literally doesn't cut it! What it does is leave jagged edges that I have to go back and fix before I can help my husband. Very dissatisfied!! The only reason that I am not returning it, is because the nearest UPS store in 100 miles away.

I purchased three of these ostomy flange cutters in two separate transactions. I lost the plastic protective top in the first transaction. The tool is extremely sharp and works flawlessly. The edges of the flange cuts around the stoma are smoother than those made with scissors. In my opinion, the cutting procedure is quicker than using scissors.

This is just like a seam ripper in my sewing kit. It did not work well. We're back to using the little scissors.

This is a nifty cutting device. I bought this for my husbands ileostomy pouches to cut the hole size and it works great. My only" want" would be to have the blade just a little bigger to control the cuts a little easier otherwise it is easy to control as is, compact for his travel bag. I purchased 2 other pairs for all his cases that we keep in all our vehicles.

Unable to use due to sharp point
