Order was exactly what I had hoped which was pleasing. Easy enough to wear, Feels solid and looks amazing. I would suggest that if the MFG could include an one page flyer that would show how to take care of and maintain them long term would be helpful. TY.

Decent for what it is and for the price. You need to know what you are getting if you are intending to wear it though. If you just want a piece of armor to hang and look at, it's what you expect. If not, read on.This is metal and many of the edges are not rolled and rivets not filed. There may be many sharp edges. You won't be larping in this until the sharp edges are addressed. (You may be able to just file down many of the edges, but taking a hammer to it will work as well.) Also, because it is metal there may be edges or corners that come bent out of shape. The product seemed to be packed fairly well, and it is hard to tell if this was shipping 'damage' (it's not really damaged, just bent) or if it was shipped like this. I also had mismatched leather straps that were riveted on in the wrong direction.The color is as expected, although I did think it was black when first taking it out of the box. The antique version has pictures lower on the amazon page. The images with the wood background accurately show the antiquing.If you are not familiar with armor (and I suspect you aren't if you are purchasing this) the fit is not going to be what you expect. These are roughly traditional designs which means they are intended to go over bulky padded armor/chainmail and the like, not worn over a thin shirt. You can even see this In their video. Their model attempting to stay very still and even then the back portion can be seen raising up, away from his back. Unless you are fairly barrel chested, you'll want to wear a big jacket under it if you are looking to wear it around (which will help with the internal sharp rivets).TLDR; My issues are overly sharp edges/rivets, a few bent corners, straps riveted on in the wrong direction but was able to adjust them. Color and fit issues mentioned in other reviews are likely just misunderstandings.

Nice addition to my son’s Halloween costume.Some rough edges, strap placement should be rethought, made it difficult to hold in place. Other than that, a pretty good buy for anyone wanting to cosplay at a renaissance festival.

Alas dear lords and ladies, my quest for armour has ended. With this purchase of sturdy plate mail mine shoulders and chest have the protection against the foes of the realm. When the great wyrm Fafnir struck out with his claws long as swords and twice as sharp, mine armor protectethed me and my vital organs, allowing me to deliver final felling blow with my blade, slaying the wretched beast with a bloody final slash, spraying his brackish ickor upon the mountain side. When the wretched liche of Darkmoor Castle cast a blight upon the land and its hordes of unholy undead attempted to rend me limb from limb, the fine smithery of NautcalMart did indeed remain stalwart and true, and I remained unharmed whilst I countered his powerful magicks and sent the liches blasphemous corporal form back to the darkness from whence it came. Huzzah to the delivery fairies of this Amazonian tribe! Huzzah to the dwarves of NauticalMart! Upon m knightley virtue I swear this review and armour to be true.

Okay so where to start.. first this armor is very thin and the craftsmanship is on par with chinesium grade. rough edges, blemished finishes and cheap straps (stupid because of how important they are) to hold the armor onto you and itself is my biggest complaint. Other than that this armor is beautiful and awesome, great design and goes amazing with leather cuirass or a tattered scarf. Another issue I have is that in the first few photos this armor looks to be silver finish, IT IS BLACK!! And now the rest of my outfit will need to be edited to match, and I’m worried about finding matching pieces of armor due to the uniqueness of the finish!So to sum it up, cheap straps/craftsmanship but beautiful design and it stays on. I wouldn’t call this “fully functional” but it is certainly functionable armor
