Aikiou Interactive Dog Bowl, Pink

I bought this dog bowl for my puppy in view of the fact he would probably use it as an adult. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars because it does challenge the mind of my puppy and hopefully will continue to do so as an adult. However, this product seems to be geared toward dogs with pointed snouts like collie type dogs rather than boxed snouts boxer type dogs. My puppy has a difficult time getting the food out unless it is filled to the brim. I researched to find two sizes but had no success. It could be in my case, one, my puppy is too young for this bowl as of now, two, there is a bigger size out there and I missed it. So three stars is the best for now. I would like another chance to view this product in the future. I think it would be perfect for small size dogs.

I bought this feeder after reading other dogs had a hard time with it. Unfortunately, my dog is SUPER food motivated. She was afraid of it at first, but after she figured it out, no problem. She can still finish her meals in less than 3 minutes. Her normal food bowl has a rock in it to slow her eating, so in the slow-eating respect, this product is useful. It operates well and is well constructed. I've left it with her in her kennel once or twice and she didn't destroy it -- she is a chewer, but I think it's too awkwardly shaped to be an appealing chew toy.

I have two small dogs (7lb and 25lbs). They both love this bowl. It does slow their eating down- even if their little muzzles can get into the compartments completely. They like to move the wheel and the toe caps with their paws and noses providing some fun for them. Very easy to take apart and clean. Doesn't scratch hard wood floors and stays in place. My 7lb chihuahua use to flip this bowl over to get the food - but all the food wouldn't come out so she'd still have to move the panels around!

I was very disappointed in the  Aikiou Interactive Dog Bowl, Pink  Considering the product picture shows a German Shepherd eating out of this bowl, I never once gave much thought to whether my dog would have a problem with the bowl. My dog is small/petite , just 17 lbs. with a pointed type snout and still it was difficult for her to eat out of the openings in this interactive bowl. She had no problem opening the different sections, it was just too tight of a fit for her to comfortably eat out of it and since it's plastic I did not want her rubbing her face so much on this. I also want to mention that the overall item is quite large, so it's not something one would want to travel with. The idea is great, the product seems to be made fairly well, I do believe it would hold up with use BUT I think the design leaves a lot to be desired. Unless you have a toy breed with a pointed snout, I wouldn't recommend you try this bowl.

The product is as described.Our lab/beagle woofs her food down in a matter of 10 seconds which is not safe.We were looking for a feeder that would slow her down some.This product did just that, it now takes her a little over a minute which is good for me compared to how fast she was going first.The only thing I would change if I could would be the difficulty level for them to get the food out. It's pretty simple for them to figure out.

I got this as a mentally stimulating toy for my pit mix. I was hoping that it would keep her from nibbling her arms, which she does during the day when we are at work. She understood how to get the food out immediately, but she likes that it's a game, and my husband and I sweet talk her while she eats! Seems to be working, and we are planning to mix up the routine with some other interactive feeding toys.

Two puzzles in one! Both puzzles are fairly simple, but introduces your dog to problem solving. I have a large dog, so she has a little bit of a problem with the small holes on the spinning puzzle, but it creates an additional challenge. I would recommend this puzzle as a beginner puzzle or to create variety with your other dog games. You can fit @ cups of kibble into all holes combined, which is a full days food for a dog weighing @ 75 lbs. in optimal health. I also inherited a small dog (@ 10lbs.) that uses this puzzle. The holes are perfect size for her snout, and the spinning puzzle create a bit more of a challenge. Great puzzle, worth the money!

My sheltie used to gulp her food down within 3-4 minutes. She learned how to fully operate this bowl within two days. My husband accidentally fed her using a regular bowl earlier today, and I just found her moving the slots around rooting for food - so of course I gave her a little more kibble to find. Great invention!

Gestern kam der Napf und das lange Warten hat sich gelohnt. Als Intelligenzspielzeug würde es allerdings bei meiner Hündin ziemlich schnell langweilig werden, denn sie hatte innerhalb von Sekunden den Dreh raus. Aber wir nutzen es nun als Fressnapf. Ein Hund soll ja was tun für sein Fressen und hier trifft das zu und ihr macht das Freude. Nun dauert die Fressprozedur auch etwas länger, weil sie sich zum Teil bei Trockenfutter auch anstrengen muss um es raus zu bekommen :). Beim Antischlingnapf war sie im Nur fertig.Aber man muss bedenken das Teil ist echt groß und in den Geschirrspülmaschine würde ich das auch nicht stellen. Es ist ziemlich leichtgängig gebaut und hübsch anzusehen. Ob es lange halten wird, werden wir sehen. Stabil wirkt es nicht aber man kann sich täuschen. Es beschäftigt zusätzlich, weil sie nicht glaubt alles raus gefressen zu haben:). Putziges Teil. Würde ich es wieder kaufen? Auf jeden Fall!
