What’s the differences between gy60 and gy50?

I am not 100% sure but from what I can see the gy50 has a plastic strainer and the gy60 is stainless steel.

Is there a temperature setting in Fahrenheit?

This is just a fine metal mesh strainer. You put your yogurt in the strainer and the whey drains into the bowl. After you put the lid on you refrigerate it for the number of hours to reach your preferred consistency. I like four hours. Dump the yogurt in a large bowl, rinse the strainer with hot water (no soap). Air dry. Meanwhile, portion the yogurt into whatever size cups you like.
