I received the item and was very happy with it until i tried to screw on one of the adaptors... No threads... Really?

I have used this just once. It worked fine. The O rings and schrader valves broke on my old gauges. I don't use guages all that often, but I was presently surprised to see that they included about 5 extra O rings and an extra schrader valve pin. It is unusual to see a product include parts that need to be routinely replaced. Shows an extra level of care by the company.

I bought this gauge set to enable me to verify my mini split heat pump installation was leak free before I released the R410 refrigerant.This gauge set is for residential R410 applications. It worked well and was good value. The product arrived in 2 days with Amazon Prime.I bought the gauge set but the vacuum pump I got from Autozone at no charge - just a refundable security deposit.This gauge set also came with two adapters for connecting to the mini split evacuation port.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this set of gauge on 9/20/2021, on 11/6/2021 first time use this gauge to do HVAC line set pressure test after brazing, unfortunate, after charging nitrogen and waiting for 1 hour to check the pressure found that the pressure go down, repeatedly check the brazing joints, no issue, finally suspected the gauge defective, so use the Gas Leak Detector Sprayer to check, verified the gauge thread was leaking, see the video. Poor quality of the gauge.

The gauges seem to work fine, but the hoses are stiff and have VERY poor seals. If you tighten enough to prevent ref. loss, it pinches off the flow causing inaccurate readings and slow charging. Spend the extra money and skip this one. If you need a reliable set, this is not it.
