Chimney 61098 Woodfield Cast Iron Firestarter Tray with soapstone 11 Inchl

i used this a couple times, and now have gone back to newspaper and kindling. This thing takes longer to get a fire roaring, and my family doesn't like the odor imposed by the fuel. for us, it has proven to be a great solution to a problem that we didn't really have....

As with others this item arrived broken. Not hard to do a better packing job folks. Works but I expected better.

The inside of the chimney was cracked but it still works. Should have been packed better

Just fill with lighter fluid and light it, Purchased for daughter. I've had one for 24 years. Just recently had to replace the soapstone which had only cracked in half but still usable. Has totally met my expectations.

This firestarter is the best! No more kindling or newspaper needed to start the fire. Just put your logs on the grate and light the firestarter. We are using alot of Lighter fluid.

You simply poor a little lighter fluid in, put some kindling on top, and POOF, you have a nice fireplace fire. Fine product especially if you use your fireplace a lot, like I do.

This my second one of these if you need to start a fire in a fireplace this is a must have.

Works great. Only thing is I thought I was suppose to use lamp oil. Isn't that right? Seems to work well with lamp oil too.
