My cats love the taste
Bought this product in Sept 2017 for $17.88, now in Oct 2017, it is "on sale" for $25.88. Aside from being annoyed by the 50% price jump, I think it is a decent product. I have four cats ranging from 12# to 18#. I bought this in hopes it would help my one cat, Stinky G Mama, with her perpetual yakking. Poor thing just has a time. If you have multiple cats, then you know you can't feed one something without the others getting into it.First off, the packaging is not practical to get in and out of on a daily basis, so I transferred it to a different airtight container. The powder is very fine, and smells like meat. I feed my cats dry food only, and I sprinkle a heaping scoop over the food, toss well, and divide it among their four bowls. I was pleased to see that they didn't hesitate and dove right in. They must be kicking the bowls, too, because there isn't much residual powder left. I do think the product would mix much better in canned food, but that is not an option for me.Has it helped Stinky G Mama? The jury is out on that. I think I see a small improvement, but girlfriend is still yakking, maybe not every single day, but frequently nonetheless. I do like the idea of her getting the probiotics, but still unsure how much she has benefited. With four cats, I calculate I will run through an 8 oz. package in a month. I'm seriously annoyed by the price hike, but I may purchase one more bag just to see if I see more improvement in my one cat. I have another cat, Ozzy, awaiting dental surgery, so I think it will be beneficial for him as well while we await his surgery date.

Amazing!
I was asked to write a review right after I bought/received the probiotics. It was too early to judge of course so I waited 2 weeks to make up my mind.I have 2 cats. A 7 yr old very healthy female and a 14 yr old diabetic male that throws up a LOT. He has done it for years, besides some constipation the vet said he was fine. Unfortunately, since he is diabetic most of the constipation remedies, he can't have. Tried psyllium husk powder etc. I don't even think it's all just the constipation. He also gets nauseous a lot (licking, watery eyes...)All they get is Fancy Feast classic beef, chicken, turkey (lowest carb) and they both like it. He has been a diabetic for appr 3 yrs (happened after a vet visit for a tooth cleaning and the vet injected the 2 week antibiotic shot Convenia). He almost died from it but made it through and a week later he was full blown diabetic with some liver damage. He is under very tight diabetes control were I test him 2x a day and inject Prozinc accordingly. He is doing great if it wasn't for the throwing up like clockwork every week or so. He is miserable for a day. The only relief he gets is when I give him Homeopet digestive upset drops. They work wonders in the midst of throwing up but doesn't seem to prevent it.After much research I decided to try this EcoBalance Probiotic powder. My female is actually crazy for it. I put 1/2 scoop of powder on a little plate and she licks it all off. With him I mix it with a little water and give it orally with a plastic syringe. He doesn't mind it. So, I have given it to him for 2 weeks now. Every morning, ca 1/2 scoop. His whole behavior changed! He doesn't sleep all day anymore, is alert, awake and actually jumps on things he hadn't jumped in almost 3-4 years! I don't detect any nauseousness at all. He has not thrown up in 2 weeks. As I am writing this he is sunbathing outside (screened in) on the hot tub! Can't believe the difference! Wonder if he wasn't digesting his food right....hard to say. I am so happy for him :-) thank you VetOrganics for that product! Will update in a few weeks......

Our animals LOVE this!
We have several animals, but I purchased this because our 9-year-old, female, Norwegian Forest Cat has been losing weight. I didn't hold out much hope that this wold help her, but I figured it was worth a try. I feed her separately from the other animals because she is "Alpha" over the cats and dog, and the younger ones tend to stress her out. She pretty much sleeps on her bed in my bathroom all the time. When I opened this package to add to her food, she came running. It has only been a few days, but I can already tell she is gaining weight. ...I also noticed the other cats lurking around to see what was in her bowl and not in theirs, so I have been giving it to the other cats and the dog too... Now they don't even want to eat without it. It smells great and it is helping our Jessie-Cat, the retired Therapy Pet, to gain weight and desire to be sociable again.

My cats really seem to like the taste of these probiotics
My cats really seem to like the taste of these probiotics. The morning after I put it on their food the first time, they were in the kitchen waiting for me to feed them (which they never do). I mainly got it for my tuxedo cat who seems to be allergic to every kind of food anymore. He scratches and licks until he has bald spots. I noticed within a day that the scratching was greatly reduced. It's been a few days now and I think his hair is starting to grow back. I would definately recommend this product.

no more stinky poo for kitty
Switching my cat Shia LaFluff to a raw diet for dinner instead of canned food. She still gets Acana/Orijen mix in the morning, atleast until we use that up. She seems to really like it but my boyfriend was complaining that she was having stinky poops. With help from some friends and other raw feeders, I decided to try a probiotic. I definitely wanted a powder I could put right on the food instead of a treat that was 50/50 if she was gonna eat it or not and she seems to actually like it! and the best part is NO MORE STINKY POOPS! This bag will last her forever with how tiny she is, and it was a great price compared to most other probiotics! Will definitely be recommending this to more people!

Cat likes the taste and eats without any trouble.
I worried about how to get this into the cat. But just like the other reviewers' my cat loves the taste and licks the powder from his bowl or eats it on the food. It seems to be helping. He has only vomited once since I have been giving him this (7 days). Before he was vomiting every day, sometimes more than once. He did have loose stool, so I backed off on the amount. I read one scoop for every 10# each day; that was wrong. It really says 1/2 scoop. I am giving less than 1/2 scoop each day for 14# cat.
