*UPDATE* Two different sizes, Three boots
I ordered these boots to wear to my wedding next week. I’ve spent a while trying to find a pair of boots that would be bridal, comfortable, and easy to hike in, so I was really, really excited to finally find these. I already own them in another color so I was confident they would be perfect for my day. They arrived pretty quickly and are absolutely gorgeous, but they are totally unwearable because they are two completely different sizes. One boot is a 7.5 and the other is an 8.5. So not only did I waste hundreds of dollars and a lot of time, but now I don’t have shoes to wear to my wedding. Regardless of the price of boots or occasion you’re buying them for, it’s a pretty reasonable expectation to get a matched pair. Instead, I have half of what I ordered and half of some other pair of boots. *UPDATE* the seller did overnight me the missing 7.5 boot, so now I have more than a complete pair. They were cool about it and immediately fixed the issue, which hey, that’s the best you can really ever hope for and I have shoes for my wedding which is also pretty cool.If you’re thinking about buying these boots, definitely try to just find them in person so you can make sure you’re actually getting a pair that match instead whichever two vaguely similar shoes the seller can find to throw together. But if you can’t find them in person, and if you do get two vaguely similar shoes, they will fix the issue, so you’ll have an identical pair, a third wheel shoe, and a funny story. As far as fit goes, they’re narrow and if you have a high instep or a wide foot you may find them a little uncomfortable if you don’t size up a bit. They can be especially tight around the top and sides of the mid foot area because of how they’re stitched together (there are seams by the tongue/bottom of the laces) so that’s an area where you’ve ever had shoe tightness before, sizing up would be a good idea. You have to loosen the laces pretty much all the way to put them on, but they’re comfortable and sturdy once you’re actually in them. The tread is good so you’re probably not going to slip and fall walking around on most reasonable conditions. They also make you look like you have tiny little doll feet which is weird but feels worth mentioning.

Excellent Quality
Last year, I bought these boots in size 9 (my usual Frye boot size) in the "sunrise" color. I was very disappointed that the fit was too tight and the leather too stiff, and assumed that a 9.5 would be too large, so I reluctantly returned them. Recently, I decided I would try the 9.5, anyway, but in "burnt red." PERFECT. The leather is supple, and I can wear them with or without inserts. I was worried that the heel might be too high for comfort (all my other boots have heels of 2" or less), but that's not at all the case. These boots are incredibly well made (in the USA), extremely comfortable, and just adorable (added bonus: they make your feet look small!). Kind of a pain to put on, since there's no side zipper, so you have to deal with loosening and tightening the shoestrings, but that's not a big deal for me. Couldn't be happier. P.S.: Re the conflicting reviews on these boots' stiffness and break-in time: the pebbled options are softer and require virtually no break-in time. Also, it's important to know that boot sizes, in general, are a half-size smaller than street shoe sizes. For example, I invariably wear a 9.5 in street shoes (oxfords, loafers, etc.) and a 9 in boots. So, while I needed to go up to a 9.5 for this style (probably because of my high instep), I almost always comfortably wear a 9 in Frye boots (engineer, Veronica, etc.).

My new favorite Frye boot!
Absolutely LOVE these boots. I've always loved Frye in general but these are my absolute favorites. Very versatile and super cute. They are quality made and have that lovely leather smell! Mmmm... They are a little stiff to start with but that shouldn't be a surprise. They are heavy quality leather and built to last. After the first wearing they were pretty well broke in and comfy despite the heavier leather. Frye tends to run a little narrow but they are already good to go. They have perfect style too. they are "rugged" but the heal keeps them from being too clunky. You can dress them up or down. I really like the rubber bottom. Some Frye boots are leather soled and therefore very slippery. These are not. If you buy these you will not regret it!

They Need Stretching
I like the look of the FRYE SABRINA BOOTS - they shape, sole, heel and BROWN color are great. Easy enough to lace them up with leather laces! The hill's height is perfect - I just can't feel it, so good! The leather feels a bit coarse and stiff but I understand it needs some time to wear the boots to make them softer. My normal shoe size 6,5. I've ordered the boots in size 7,5, because I need them for travelling, when I have a lot of walking in different conditions, wearing not too thick socks. The boots actually are a bit longer in comparison with my expectation, - if to put them on with thin stockings. Will be OK with sport socks. The negative thing is - they are a bit heavy (but not too bad!!!) and quite narrow - just enough for my foot not to be too squeezed in the arch area. So I put them on my shoe stretcher for a couple of days each, using professional stretching lotion. This method helped a bit but I think I will give them some more time for stretching - to make them as comfortable and roomy as possible. My opinion - if your foot is slim and you don't have high arch - buy them a half of you normal size up, no bigger! But in general the boots are really a high quality item. Slightly overpriced but they will be worn for years! I'm thinking to buy another pair in SUNRISE color.

Beautiful
I am thrilled that I got these boots. They are an average fit, so I did size up a half size for my wide feet. The quality of these boots is just amazing. Beautiful leather, and tough. The only thing you have to remember about real leather shoes & boots is that they do need to be broken in. They're hard, but they will eventually form to your foot.

very good
I have a few different colors of Frye Sabrina, this pair is as good as they all - quality and comfort. And it's a perfect nude color.

Gorgeous, so great! but a little narrow!
Beautiful boots! I have wider feet so I found these a bit narrow and uncomfortable at first but as I wear them more and more they get more comfortable! Gorgeous leather, perfect heel height, well made tread, beautiful design! Love!

Exceeded expectations!
These were my first purchase of Fryes - and because these have been so fantastic I’ve since bought 3 more pairs of Fryes - and talked my friend into doing the same - and she loves them too! The quality is unparalleled, the fit exactly true to size, and they needed almost no wearing in. They are rugged yet feminine looking, and give an edge to almost any outfit. Being lace up they are if anything more comfortable as they are more adjustable than zip up boots. Ideal heel height too. One in every colour would be nice ... really Fryes should talk to me to about being their Australian advocate! The price is justified as the quality is inherent in every pair.
