The key to opening the case is from the top only. The sides and bottom clips are not ment to be open.From the top, where the lanyard is attached to. On each upper corner is a clear tip with a dimple, the dimple holds the two sides together. Gently pinch the dimple like an old coin purse one side at a time. Continue to pinch till its obviously separated.Once both corners are loose, bend the black flap side out where the crease is.The black backing is not meant to side out or pop out. Simply slide Bills ID from the top and side yours in.Snap both upper corner together, set it and forget it.

This horizontal badge holder is one of the most attractive ones out there. It's simple and clean. However, one of the biggest complaints I see here is that it does not come with any (English) instructions. The way you open it is by turning it over, and gently pushing on the clear tabs to the left and the right, and bringing the center compartment towards you! Voila! It's open! Slide your card in, snap it back together! SEE MY PHOTOS! :)

Have used it for 8 months with no problem. Does not discolor or fade. No problem with RFID scanner. Was tricky to get my badge in, but my badge otherwise fits perfectly and seals the badge in. I keep it in my bag and it does not get dust inside the badge holder. Much better looking than soft plastic sleeves. Would definitely buy again.

The plastic casing is the only thing that hasn't broken or fallen apart.

Took a while to figure out that it just opens from the top, but after that my ID card slid right in. Works as desired and durable so far.

Kind of difficult to open. If you can open it without breaking it then it works fine.
