This came without the tools advertised and the webcam is dead.Very disappointing after a very difficult installation and purchasing tools from another source.

I was shopping around and considered purchasing a $500 screen from ifixit because i was worried about having a display that was as vibrant and color accurate as the OEM one, i decided to gamble on this budget screen, I am very pleased with it. I am a photographer so i believe my opinion holds some weight, I haven't seen the screens side by side but the image is definitely within 95% of the original one i had.Notes on differences;The camera may be slightly worse but still more than usable.the text "MacBook Pro" is slightly different in the bezelthe Hinge doesn't fold back quite as far as the original, maybe loosing 5 degrees of moment,the mounting holes for the spring mechanism are slightly closer together than the original which made it slightly hard to install, i almost got out my drill to make the holes a touch bigger, but with some finagling i did end up getting it installed without modification, but not the best experience if you don't have experience problem solving repairs like that.Overall it is very close to the original and the screen is very respectable, i would buy this again.

The media could not be loaded. Edit: true tone, auto brightness also do not work with this screen!The edge of the replacement screen is thicker than the OEM, so when you open and close the laptop, that edge gets caught on a plastic part of the laptop and causes a loud clicking/cracking sound. Tried reinstalling the oem part and it doesn't do that!So, I had to undo the installation, shave the plastic part with a knife, and re-install the parts to make it stop clicking. Also, 2 screws wouldn't fit because the holes were not threaded like they should be.Additionally, I ordered a space gray, and they sent me a silver one!Total installation time went from a 45 min job to a 3 hr job. NOT HAPPY!!!

So I got this on time. I think three days. Mainland USA.It came with the installation kits. Screwdrivers and all.The problem is after installing it, it makes this sound whenever I open or close the laptop. But it works.

Works so great and you simply can't tell the difference in resolutions for this one and the OEM that comes with the MacBook. The only concern I have is will it last.
