It smells nothing like laundry and cleaning.. I have the febreeze cotton fresh spray and thought this will also smell good but NO,, it smells like a fruity cheap bathroom cleaner! Strong yes but I literally threw them out less than an hour after opening them even thought they are expensive. 😭

I picked up the Febreze Small Spaces Air Freshener in Linen & Sky for a few spots around the house, mainly a bathroom and a bedroom closet. Setup couldn't be simpler: flip the tab, set it down, and you're done. No plug-in, no batteries, no fuss. For convenience alone, I appreciate the design. It does help with odours, I'll give it that. Within a few hours of placing it, things smelled noticeably better in both spaces. That said, I think people should know that this type of passive diffuser works more by continuously releasing fragrance into the air than by actually neutralizing odours the way the Febreze sprays do. So it's less "elimination" and more "coverage," which is worth knowing before you buy. My main gripe, and the reason this is a 3-star and not a 5-star, is the scent itself. Linen & Sky smells quite synthetic and heavy to me. Rather than a clean, subtle freshness, it leans artificial and perfume-like, which I find just as distracting as the odours it's covering up. If you're sensitive to strong or fake smelling fragrances, this one may not be for you. Also worth keeping in mind if anyone in your household or visiting has sensitive skin or a condition like eczema, since concentrated synthetic fragrance in a small enclosed space can be irritating even just through air exposure. Would consider trying another Febreze scent, but this particular one isn't for me.

These really do make small spaces smell fresh for about a month! I've used them in my bathroom, entrance and by my cats litter boxes.

So for starters I popped one right after it came in Left it in my room which is not a very large room. My room is definitely larger than a bathroom. The smell was overwhelming. Not necessarily a bad thing but too much even for a room that is larger than a bathroom. I got them to counteract the smell of my roommates litter boxes. I decided to take it upon myself and put it in the room that it houses three litter boxes. Needless to say the entire house now smells fresh when you walk into the litter box room especially it smells like freshness and not cat pee. I do not think these are suitable for a bathroom, if they were in something as small as a bathroom being generally the smallest room in any home or apartment it would be way too much. Don't get me wrong they smell great I'm loving the fact that I don't have to smell cat urine right now. But if this was put into a bathroom it would kind of knock you out sent wise when you walked in. If there is another way to distribute the scent in a lighter way, such as less distribution of the scent it would be perfect but it is too much if you're going to go for something to make your bathroom smell fresh I recommend the following, funk away. It eats the odors and puts out a mild scent. I know they have the febreze that you stick under your trash can lid to make your trash smell fresh, I would even recommend using that in the bathroom stuck underneath your toilet tank. But these are way too much smell for a small place as there is a three-bedroom house with a living room and a family room that absolutely reeks a freshness right now. That is my honest review of the product.

Very intense. I bought the linen and sky scent thinking that would be the lightest. What does sky smell like anyway? To me this product smells like a snort of Tide! It's easy to start the product working, just one quick click. And I appreciate that it's a stand-alone, no electric plugging in. I gave it four stars for being exactly what it's supposed to be (plug in alternative, odor-fighting). But the smell is walloping; that's how it lost one star. Maybe this is for an area like a laundry room with lots of dirty gym clothes waiting to be washed. OK -- After a few days the smell of the product simmered down. Now it is doing what it was supposed to be doing: fighting odor. I'll give it a bit more time and I might reorder a different fragrance just to see!
