Love this stuff
This was my first time using any epoxy type clay. This stuff is easy to mix and easy to sculpt!!! I absolutely love it and will be buying it over and over again! Highly recommend! Made sculpting my bear sleeve into a care bear simple and perfect!

Different but interesting
I also bought this out of curiosity, as an alternative to Aves Apoxie. I thought it would be a similar product but aside from the fact that you combine equal amounts of part A and part B, that's where the similarities to Apoxie end.The texture is actually kinda satisfying.... instead of being stiff and firm and more difficult to condition like Apoxie, both parts have a texture that is more similar to a marshmallow. When you mix them, the texture remains like a marshmallow. Another review mentioned crayola air dry clay- and before it dries, the texture is pretty similar!Like Apoxie, this product does feel a bit sticky when you first mix it, but if you let it sit for about 30 minutes, the stickiness gets much less problematic and it seems easier to work and make details.Another thing I didn't realize at first, is that it's recommended to wear gloves while working with this stuff. Saw that on the product website after I initially made a little test sculpture. I didn't wear gloves at all, and a lot of it stuck to my fingers and then the ball of clay kept sticking to where the product was on my fingers. I had to use rubbing alcohol to get it off and came back to sculpt it with clean hands and it was much better. Having a damp paper towel or a cup of water handy nearby is also a good idea- some of my sculpting tools had a tendency to stick to this stuff and I found that wetting my tools before using them helped quite a lot. And using damp fingers helped it not stick to my hands as much. While the texture of the product reminded me of crayola air dry clay before it cured, when i woke up this morning i was pleased to discover that my test piece had cured to a surprisingly hard and solid feeling finish. This product is much lighter in weight than Apoxie which initially made me worry that the cured product wouldn't be very durable - but this does not appear to be a problem! I am actually excited now that I see how it cures- I can think of many potential project ideas where the lighter weight will be a big advantage! I like to make mixed media acrylic paintings on canvas; in the past I have used Apoxie to add a 3D sculpture effect to a painting. My favorite one is a painting/sculpture of a snake that wraps around the edges of the canvas and on the flat areas on the canvas, I made it look like that part of the snake is under water, like he's chilling out in a lil puddle. It looks awesome but the heavier weight of the Apoxie made it a bit awkward to get it hung up on the wall without it being crooked! I honestly can't wait to try another canvas piece with this product and hopefully avoid the weight issue!I'm starting to think there's a learning curve with this product especially for people who are used to working with Apoxie or polymer clay. The texture and working style is quite different- I haven't had a chance to work with it beyond making a small simple sculpture. This review is just my initial impression as someone who knew nothing about this product before i bought it.I would highly suggest that anyone else considering purchasing this, or if you already have some and you're finding out that no, this isn't just an off-brand Apoxie, it's an entirely different medium....do yourself a favor and visit the manufacturer's website before you start a project!!- You'll find info for this product and all the other items they carry, plus Blogs with tips and stuff. It sounds like the company mostly caters to epoxy/resin artists, and people who make tumblers and pens and whatnot. Not my area of experience but I was excited to find so much information on their website. I've been curious to try working with UV resin for a while, and based on the initial impression of the company (very positive!) I will definitely be buying some UV resin directly from them.Shipping was fast, packaged well, AND they even threw in a free gift of some cute sparkly yellow glass stones...I use small tumbled rocks frequently to accent my sculptures, never realized these tiny glass stones existed 🤣 and I was delighted that they threw them in for free- not many companies do that anymore! So overall I am highly impressed with the company itself, and I think the only "problem" with the product is that I just don't know how to work with it yet. That's the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5....maybe there should be a disclaimer that "hey, polymer clay/apoxie people, this isn't generic Apoxie, adjust your expectations" 🤣....if I eventually figure out how to make this stuff work with me, I'll come back and give an update! 🤣

Messy
This is some light weight stuff that's very doughy and messy when mixing. It's hard to sculpt until it's close to setting up,sticks to your fingers like wet pizza dough, and don't let it dry on your hands either because it hardens like plaster . Not the best stuff, I'm going to stick with Magic Sculpt.

Poor quality, not suitable for many projects
I ran out of a different product called apoxy sculpt and decided to try culture sculpt as a replacement. Please don't. Don't waste your money go buy the better stuff. It is easy to mix together but has no integrity. It's more like a gluey kinetic sand than it is a sculpting medium. I work on custom dolls and was using this to create a new knee around a wire armature. It was far too soft to shape and fell apart at the slightest provocation. I could not even smooth it down with a damp finger because large chunks would break off or pull away from the wire I was shaping it around. I ended up having to encase the wire in a solid block of culture scope and then cut away pieces with a craft knife while it was still uncured to be able to make the basic shapes.Once dried it was able to be sanded but because of the poor texture during the molding stage I ended up needing to scrap the entire project. Well it is pretty cheap it's not worth the money you're spending on it..

NOT Apoxie Sculpt and that's GOOD
A 2 part sculpting material that hardens solid enough for carving and sanding, takes paint very well, and is incredibly light for the volume? Sign me up!Actually modeling the stuff takes a slightly different approach than Apoxie sculpt- before it hardens this stuff has little structural support. It benefits greatly from either sculpting flat or using internal support to lay it on. Very sticky though for the first 30 minutes, but can continue to work for a while after. Hardens completely within a few hours unless it's a thick layer. The major benefit is how lightweight this is, and it feels about as solid as Apoxie Sculpt. For cosplay, costumes, and large headpieces like antlers, this is fantastic. I am 100% ordering again

Shocked how small it was for the price
Not worth buying this size for the price. It's so small it can easily fit in your palm of your hands. I was shocked how small it was.
