This is probably made up to WW2 US Army Specs.
I liked the fact that this helmet is probably the real thing. it probably would stop any bullet or shrapnel. Even is something were to strike this helmet, that projectile would just deflect away from the helmet. And that is because it is of a round surface. So it would just slide off to the side of the point of impact. You can see WW2 footage, like from the Normandy Invasion, and see this helmet being used.
