These enclosures are about as solid as you could expect. Extremely lightweight and well made. I highly recommend them

Product is NOT compatible with 5th gen iPad if you need thunderbolt connectivity
Beware VidaMount if you need full product compatibility as described by their website. And their support essentially said our $1,500 in enclosures will have to be modified at our own cost to support out of the box Apple functionality.
