Agnesi Lasagne, 500G

Made lasagne using this, it turned out great. I was expecting some sheets to be broken but only 2-3 strips were chipped in the corner.

Good flavour, but texture needs improvrment. Even after following the recipe (at the back of the box) to the letter, the pasta sheets are underdone. Soaking the sheets in hot water to pre-soften them before assembling the lasagna doesn't work either, as they clump together and can't be separated.

It's a great quality product! Even though it was a bit pricy. The box was packed well and I got no broken sheets. The thickness of the sheets is also just perfect, not too thin and not too thick. The pasta is oven ready, meaning that you don't need to cook it before baking. You just need to know howw to cook it right.Make sure your bolognese and bechamel sauces are a bit runny and have enough liquid to cook the lasagna sheets well. But don't make it too liquidy that it becomes stodgy.While layering don't be frugal with the amount of sauce.I baked at 195°C for 25mins, topped with some more bechamel and cheese, and broiled for 20mins to get the traditional brown and crispy cheese layer.The lasagna was cooked just al dente, and it soaked in all the wonderful flavours from the sauces. No doubt the best lasagna I've ever had! See the attached image to see the beautiful cross-section.

Almost 25% of the sheets were crushed and wasted.
