The 2018 Chevy Equinox has a design flaw with the brightness of the computer screen (aka radio). The screen is much brighter than the dash lights. Turning the dash light down works well for the speedometer and other gauge cluster. But at the minimum setting the screen is still way to bright. So I ended up using the ND9 filter to darken the screen The touch screen still works well with the extra covering and I can still see the screen in bright light.

I have a number of color gel sets from shengzkc, and they have always provided a good value for a decent product. These ND gels are no exception, they are exactly what I was expecting.The set comes tightly rolled in the package, but when you unroll them they lay reasonably flat and don't retain much of a curl. They are kind of thin thin though, and while the material doesn't seem prone to tearing easily, it could get creased if you are not careful. The set I received did have some small dents that look like roller marks in the middle of each sheet that I assume came from the packaging process, but they don't affect the usability at all.These are great to have on hand, and the price for the set is definitely reasonable.

I know this is weird, but I used these to dim some screens on small electronics in my bedroom. We've got the baby sleeping in there for the time being and the screen on my battery charger and my cpap machine were very bright in the middle of the night.Trimming down the ND gels and applying to the screen with a bit of water and a squeegee has made a noticeable difference in the brightness of the screens and makes it a lot easier to get the baby down to sleep.Odd use-case, but it worked great. Very pleased with these

Right out of the package this were crinkled up slightly. I don't think it will affect the end results, but it was a bummer to see.I'm still learning how to use them properly but I'm hoping to explore some long exposure photography with them.I can already see how these will really help me. My first experiment will be using this with my cellphone. This will also be helpful for outdoor photography in the midday sun here in Florida.

My rating is 3.5 stars. I ordered these gel filters from shengzkc for creative lighting options. Rather than use one of my ND lens filters, which affects the whole scene, these gels can be mounted in front of a flash or other light source. That opens up some fun possibilities. The gels are just under 16 x 20, allowing them to be cut to the size you need, or used as a full sheet. The sheets themselves are very thin and prone to creasing meaning they do need to be handled with some care. For the price and the possibilities, they are good to have.

I'm a budding YT content creator. I have struggled with lighting issues because I am inherently not good at manipulating lighting and such. I've use these filters to help adjust intensity and the results have been impressive. I now don't look so ghostly or pasty, and that's the best compliment I can give. I'll be using these going forward, and highly recommend them if you too, struggle with lighting.

This is great if you are DIY filmmaker. Here is a tip, instead of shaping these to a light, get a light stand with a clamp extention and nail or glue these gels to a plastic, wire or wooden frame. That way you can have it literally in any situation and you don't have to deal with taping these to barn doors or clipping them. Really quality ND filters.
