perfect, no barb piece
This is exactly what I needed, I already had the adapter for the barb to hose. This is a perfect fit, no leaks and is just the right pressure to lock. It seems good construction as well

Works fine, but...
not what I ordered. There was no hose barb, but a threaded fitting. I understand a "hose barb" to be a tubular fitting over which a hose fits. Although that was not the case, I made a 3/8" tubing fit, and it works well. The picture is correct, but not the description. Good thing I wanted 3/8" tubing instead of 1/4".

The inner gasket or O-ring keeps failing, and thus leaks Co2
The inner gasket or O-ring keeps failing, and thus leaks Co2. You can open it and try to adjust it to fix it, but it will fail again in a matter of time.

what you see Is what you don't get.
What's there really to say about something like this. It either works or It doesn't.You would think that they would make It right but you don't get the part shown. They send you one that has threads. You can still use It alone without an adapter. That's what I did. I used 1/2" ID plastic tubing. It fit right on but also fit on to the regulator.Works just fine In fact It turned out better this way. Make sure you get half Inch ID tubing. It fit both ends perfectly. You still should use clamps and buy food grade tubing.

Works fine with the Carbonater
Needed a use for my fallow kegerator system, figured I'd try carbonating my own soda water. The nipple on my CO2 regulator is 5/16" so I ended up using 5/16" hose and a combination of Teflon pipe tape and a hose clamp on the disconnect side. It works fine, and it's kind of nice to have a constant supply of seltzer.

Failed after 2 months.
This guy was working fine for me paired with The Carbonator :http://amzn.to/1nN9ydhThis morning I went to carbonate some water and when I removed the disconnect a rubber O ring fell out of the inside and it immediately started leaking. It is now useless and I am just outside the return window by 3 days.

Grest low cost way to supply CO 2 gas to the Keg
Product arrived quicker than expected and works great on my new Keg. The product I purchased has a threaded interface rather than the fluted one depicted in this picture. It was just what I wanted.

works fine
Works great but does hiss now and then and have to twist it to make it seal correctly .
