Once the dad and uncles got the set put together (easy directions), my nephew was highly engaged and had a great time playing with this set for a couple of hours. Highly recommended for any Thomas fan!

What we love most about the knapford station train set is the price point and versatility that it offers. It was very easy to set up even the bridge accessory was very easy to put together. There are limited pieces very straightforward construction. They include a generous amount of track pieces you can set this up a lot of different ways. I also really like that the station portion serves as a storage compartment for extra track pieces. We are getting quite the collection of Thomas the train tracks and having the station serve as a storage compartment is genius.

Well built and sturdy enough for kids to transport, work's perfect with the other track master engine's and track. Delivery date was spot on very satisfied with purchase. I recommend it for anyone wishing to bring the island of Sodor into your home for hours of fun and learning.

My toddler is just starting to get into trains. This was marked down when I bought it, so for the value it was amazing! My only issue with the track is it is hard to get together, and seems like it could be broken easily. This goes for all the plastic Thomas track though, not just this set.

My grandson LOVES this toy. He's naturally crazy about trains and watched Thomas on YouTube. The practicality of this product is well thought out. The storage container is actually used in the layouts you can build. Nothing is wasted. Everything fits back into the storage container. Some might say the downside is that no trains come with this version. That's because it's an expansion pack. We already have tracks, cars and engines. It's to be expected. Another big plus is there are more than one design you can make with this set. All the parts are compatible with other Thomas and Friends kits. So you can make a pretty large layout when you combine your exiting set(s) with this expansion pack. Your grandchild will really love you!

This is the newer version of the Knapford station track set. The older one has a red passenger car with die cast Thomas and has red doors on the station. We have both because it is an awesome set with a good variety of pieces. The station is not the best at holding items inside it, especially for transport, but it is a cute idea.
