bright, cool running and true to color
I have been using FancierStudio, Kaezi and Alzo CFLs in in my photo studio. The light is daylight balanced and full spectrum, rendering vivid color and crisp detail. It's not only great for photography, but ideal for working, reading and hanging out. The quality of light is very comforting compared to 2700K CFLs. So I decided I'd like to have the same quality of light at home, hence my purchase of several FancierStudio 45 Watt CFLs.This is a large CFL but fits fine in most table lamps and open ceiling fixtures. I installed two inside Japanese paper lanterns, flipped the power switch and was impressed by the brightness and color clarity. It's rated at 5500K and, indeed, the bare bulb is close to daylight temperature but leans to the cool side. The Japanese lantern softens and warms it up a notch.I expected a 45 watt CFL to run hot but, strangely enough, runs much cooler than the small CFLs I use around the house. The larger size is more efficient at dissipating heat than compact CFLs.I own several CFLs from FancierStudio, KAEZI, ALZO and others and they're all exactly the same, right down to the vents and generic white box. I suspect they're all made in the same Chinese factory and are simply sold by different venders. This is a great CFL: bright, cool running and true to color.

Very Bright but they ARE big.
These are terrific. Very bright and consistent in operation (they come on when they should.) One caveat is that they are very big, longer by double most compact FLDs, so if you're going to use them in normal fixtures, be sure that you have the room. In addition to photography, I used a few of these to replace normal 60w equvalent CFLDs in my garage and the difference is, well, like night and day. Makes it much easier to do workshop stuff.

like many fluorescent bulbs
The bulb is very bright (high luminosity), as I wanted, but sufficiently low wattage (and heat) so I can use it in an enclosed fixture, as I wanted. The color of the light is bluish, like many fluorescent bulbs, and I would prefer a bit warmer (e.g., incandescent) looking light. But I am satisfied that it is bright, fits an enclosed fixture, and is economical to use (low electricity) . And the price was a bargain. It is in use only a short while, so I do not know if it will last as long (as a long-life bulb) as expected. It was delivered on time, as promised.

Lots Of INSTANT Light For The Price!
These "DAYLIGHT" bulbs brighten up my basement quite well. I do have to say that while the listing states "45Watt = 200 watts incandescent lighting", the box they came in state they are 45W and equivalent to 225 incandescent. But it appears that they may give off a little less light than another "200W" CFL light I have in my basement. I do like these better because they full bright immediately, while my other similar ones take a couple of minutes to reach full light. I hope they last a long time and if they do well, I will order additional ones.

Bright and long lasting
Bright and long lasting (and well-padded for shipping, which is appreciated as other brands I have ordered broke in shipment and these came fine). I've used these before and this was the 4th time I've used these. I actually use them in a covered outdoor porch and they even do well in subfreezing weather which is unexpected. They are about as bright as a 200 watt incandescent, and very WHITE light.

Help! Inconsistent!
I'm hoping the seeking can contact me for an explanation otherwise I will need to return these. I use these bulbs in a dental lab to help correctly shade crowns. I order these bulbs originally and they are great. Still using a couple of them now. When I reordered we received different bulbs with different lot numbers. They're a blue light where the originals were a more yellow. We need consistency in lighting. Is there anyways we can get the original bulbs?
